Games in between aren't really worth watching imo, there's...
- lose to 2rax, one proxy one at home, because I saw the rax in his main and assumed everything was fine (apparently I need to learn to count SCVs, or something, sounds like a disaster), and then didn't pull drones when he started bunkers when I prob should have
- win a couple games vs ppl meching, both of whom are doing it way wrong and pretty bad
- lose a game to a tard because I forgot to make a baneling nest despite scouting bio

When that would happen to me I would take the rematch and then start it up and afk. Or I'd just built a **** load of cannons and wait for them to leave or kill them all. It's funnier to me when they realize they wasted their time.

+1, trolling people like that is hilarious. Takes some balls to play it out with that kind of trash talking on the line though, wp whackmaster.

I think you need to take and saturate your gas a little earlier, you have such a large mineral bank so early. Also, something I told one of my "students" when he was trying to get to masters - focus on macroing before anything else. I always felt like it was a waste of an action to select your larvae without making anything. Got 1k+ Minerals and lots of larvae? Just make overlords, make lings, make DRONES (you can always turn em into static defense with a mineral bank and over saturation)... Just spend that monay! Got 3k+ minerals and no gas bank? Make another macro hatch, it can never be a bad idea if you have a decent economy.

Also, don't forget to use all your units in the fight, especially infestors if you have them. Eventually you're going to want to start setting up flanks when he's sieged up, so that when he unsieges you can have have your lings flank behind him (left side coming from the north), so he can't leave, then swoop in with the mutas/lings/banes/infestors from the front (right side). When you are going to lose a base no matter what it's best to take the time to set up the flanks properly to get that decisive cleanup.

Also, you spend a lotttt of time spreading creep. Imo, don't be so particular about getting it spread to the furthest hex possible, just spread that **** as fast as you can and focus your time on other parts of your macro game.

Goofy-Its simple. Spend your goddamn money, saturate your goddamn bases. Seriously for the next 20 games **** wins **** losses, **** micro, **** everything, just saturate your bases and keep your money low by making stuff. Do you location hotkey?

Hm, when watching other players quickly extend their creep only 1/2 to 2/3 as far as it can go cause they're just clicking really fast I can't help but feel like that's super inefficient.

Thanks for the rest of the tips, I'll try to keep that in mind. Not being afraid to oversaturate since I can use drones for static defense later is a good one.

Ra_Z - no camera hotkeys.

Practice some against comp and start using them is another tip. Makes such a huge difference to your multitask ability, macroing, producing stuff, managing your econ and quickly putting your attention somewhere else. You seem to be very "one track minded" atm, concentrating on only one thing at the time to the deteriment of everything else. You need to be cycling through everything, inject, units, creep, tech, micro, inject, units, creep etc.

Set the make location bind to shift-F1, Shift-F2 etc. Then set go to location bind as F1, F2. I only use mine for bases, but if you got used to it and could use even more quickly it would be even better. Stephano is the only top pro I can think of who doesn't use them but he has like 400 APM, not everyone can get away with such mechanical inefficiency.

I make liberal use of the spacebar to cycle between bases which I think is effective enough. I don't waste a lot of time getting to the base that I want to look at, which is the ultimate goal.

You only think this. I want to look at your POV now. Have you streamed? :P

It's one thing to inject with space (which is fine and even good imo), quite another to use it to try to 'find' a base you want to look at, for example where there's a drop, or when you need to put in gas etc etc. I only started using them recently but it was made such a huge difference. I would have made the exact same argument as you until I tried it myself.

I am soon wanting to use more than 4 location hotkeys I have found it so damn useful. I think F5-F8 are a bit of a stretch, using `+F1 to go to location '5', `+F2 to location 6 etc might be pretty damn elite.

But seriously though, saturate and spend saturate and spend. You are floating so much and seem to continually have no friggin drones despite no harrassment and its not like you cut them to all in. Just focus on that and NOTHING else for the next number of games....

Ok watching game 1 (sorry if anything I say is repetitive but its constructive I hope), after crushing his lol early push, you basically just turtle, but you don't even TECH! You don't even put up static defense. You don't get evos or a spire until absurdly late. Your third takes forever to take. You have no drones like forever for some reason but still float a tonne.

If you are going to turtle, then take a lot of bases get a sick econ and tech really fast. You have a midgame composition and army size have done NOTHING with it at like 18 mins, by then you could have taken every base on the map and had 5-3 Ultra's infestors banelings, be thinking about tech switching to broods anytime you want, be getting vipers with energy to lol at his tanks etc. He has tanks so you don't want to engage, well why are you sitting there with a huge ling/bling/muta ball? You are richer than the iron bank of braavos with a billion larva and you still don't want to engage because it could cost you the game when you have 2-2 ling/bling and 200/200 with no supply room for ultra's and he is barely mining on 2 bases? 24 mins and you are on 4 base. Why? You should be on at least 6 base at that point, he could do NOTHING to prevent it.

You should scout a bit more btw. You do check for things but seemingly too late. You should be continually checking and denying his 4th. Btw morph overseers and get overlord speed earlier. Also get burrow and burrow a ling at every base that he could take, also set up some baneling landmines is something to consider.

You want to force trades. When you are given free reign over the map if you are on low tech units you want to trade trade trade whilsts expanding and teching behind. You seem to have no interest in trading. He has tanks, so what? Engage on multiple fronts and crush through, if you lose your army who cares, you can remax in 5 seconds?

Sorry this is just typed out without proof reading so I am probably rambling.

I won't talk about the mechanics because that is not useful and something that just needs practice, but yeah camera hotkeys would help, this wasn't the best example game to show why though.

if you are really afraid of trading and having no army, even if it's cost effectively, just build a wall of 20 spines (yes, you can afford it) so that when you ram into his wall or whatever, you can remax.

or you can wait until the second he moves out and then crush him and build the spines anyway

there's a reason all the korean pros build spine crawler walls often- one of their major functions is to hold off pushes until you get out the units you need to kill his push.

Is it a growing trend these days to have people offensively GG you either during a game, or to PM you after you don't GG and say something?

I think 6 of my last 7 losses have involved one or the other.

Had a Protoss go nexus first, pylon block me, not even have a cannon started at his natural wall when my 6 lings got there, try futilely to defend for like 6 minutes, then chat "lmao ****ing bs" before quitting.
