Got placed in diamond again both na and eu servers. All my matches so far including placements have been against diamonds who were masters last season interestingly. Small sample.

It's making me thing I might have to start playing mirrors. God I hate mirrors though. Silver is just so ugly. I'm fairly sure I'm Plat if I cared about mirrors but this kind of shot me down, lol.

Are there any arcade games that make it easy to try out different locations for overlord placement and do vision checks to see if your opponent can see them? I can't think of a way to do that other than playing with a friend and asking them to send units to all the places you have your OLs.

Especially on newer ladder maps I don't often know where I can/can't put overlords without them being seen from below.

Played a patchterran who killed 32 workers of mine in the first 12 minutes with hellions and hellbat drops.

I won the game easily.

Nah pretty sure that's never happening. I'm losing most of my games in plat, can't beat Protoss deathballs all of a sudden which used to be my specialty.

This was a pretty fun game.

Just do the 10/10/10 build.

Works even vs masters players ( who havn't seen it before ).

10 proxy hatchery near their nat ( make sure its out of vision of buildings/scouting probe path ). - with the 10th worker you make

10 pool.
10 overlord

queen from proxy hatch when its done + 1 inject and make lings from all larva from here.


vs gateway expand, go in with 6+ lings, your first pair from the proxy hatch need to go in, if they got the zealot just wait for the queen /extra lings to arrive, no zealot lolggson, let the queen attack the MSC and just produce produce to win.

vs FE first pair of lings in immediately, queen inject and start shooting any cannons that attempt to get up. If a cannon was made blindly and is almost up you send the first pair of lings to the main and make 2 drones @ the proxyhatch + spread creep and spine push the frontwall - wait for a gap then send your ~30+lings in when you have a path.


There is a bunch of subtlety to it but it's very effective against gateway and forge expands. I send first ovi to protoss base, 2nd to my nat and sometimes send the drone down to fake taking the expand if they sent the probe to wait there


Around a 75% winrate in eu diamond vs P with it.

I mean I don't particularly care as a Zerg since spores+queens are ez game, but cloaked banshee play seems pretty powerful already in TvT and buffing it is like wtfbbq.
