Played a Terran who opened double gas so he could reactor out reapers and follow it up with a quick factory for widow mines. Destroyed him with roach hydra. What a sorry excuse for a race Terran is now.

I just won my placement match on the European server and was placed in plat. This is strange because I got promoted to masters in the middle of last season on EU. I'm pretty sure I didn't play anymore on that server after being promoted to masters, so I was expecting to be placed in masters.

I played some WoL on my smurf today to remember the good old days and went 14-3. Two of the losses were cannon rushes, other one was a 7gate or something that hit about 15 seconds before I was going to have enough roaches pop to hold it. Man that game is easy though, I miss winfestors. Kinda fun to play on CK/Ohana (even if the latter is awful for Zerg) again too.

Apparently loads of masters have been demoted. I think they are cutting masters back to the actual 2% of playerbase it is supposed to be. IIrc it was actually 7% last season for some reason.

Is the new season active now? There was also a piece of news on TL that you can't be demoted during a season, only when the next season starts. So anyone who was on track for demotion had it delayed until now I guess.
