Not sure where to put this, but I heard from a dude who regularly receives coaching from INcontroL that INcontroL and many other pros actually make a living off coaching.

Do you guys think they actually get enough coaching requests to do this? I mean this isn't poker and they only charge like 40-50$ per hour.

if you listen to SOTG (state of the game) incontrol says he coaches like 4-5 hours a day. he also said he has been flown to dubai and paid like $5k to hang out and coach a group of guys for a week. and apparently they gave his girlfriend a $5k perfume set as a gift.

i want to get a new laptop to play SC2 on. my current one is garbage and i got it 3 years ago just for poker so it has a stock video card which is useless and only 2GB of RAM. where should i go to get it?

I have a Dell Inspiron M1530 with a Nvidia 8600M, probably 3 years old now.
Laptop runs SC2 perfectly at medium graphics settings.
Ultra graphics are unplayable due to lag.

I think as long as you get a laptop that does not have a built in videocard, but has a name brand, you should be fine.

I have an I5 with 4GB of Ram a Nvidia GTX460 and it runs everything perfect on Ultra with high FPS.

You can get all of that for fairly cheap.

There are lots of options out there but any new processor/graphics card and 4+GB of ram will do you just fine. Depends a lot on your budget but good thing SC2 doesnt take a great computer to run on the highest settings.

Yeah but I mean...I killed his 1st reaper that came into my base with 2 stalkers and when I went into his base with 3 stalkers, he was moving out with like 4 more reapers O.O

He also had a 3 rax going but also built a factory + starport on 1 base

i'm watching some games from GSL season 1 and fruitdealer's play is absolutely mind blowing. i don't know wtf happened to him. in game 1 of the semis vs nexliveforever he had queens in the middle of the map healing his mutas as they were engaging some marines. NO ONE DOES THAT. its insane.
