looking at some of the other images, it is pretty clear you do not inject enough or make macro hatches to lower minerals. 2.2k mineral float at 13 mins with like 51/90 supply....

nydus is op, hit and run, or have 2 worms far away then he can't really do ****. His main appears bare. His 3rd isn't even defended. If he base trades then there is enough money to just mass spines. Its gg no matter what anyway meh. Oh and waiting for him to move out allows him to max/saturate 3rd, and who wants a longer game than neccecary

base trade vs nydus? thats worse idea than the first...

obviously his minerals are gone; do you not think the mass circle of red structures will notice a blue dot pop up in the middle within the 10 or w.e seconds it takes a nydus to build?

pretty sure he has no minerals left anywhere, 4 mules atm and a long ish game on only 3 base leads to none left. notice i said just send 20 lings to his third and he has to move out. quite a bit easier than re teching to hope hes bad enough to not see a big dot on his screen

yeah fair enough. Although there are plenty of invisible places to nydus, top right of his main, middle left bottom of main.... Doesn't matter anyway, but in a closer game with a hypothetically defended 3rd behind the ramp with mining, nydus would be useful, otherwise I can see it being T defending that ramp point and the game going on until the terran wants a 4th. Nydus really good way to hit the production of a terran (especially as part of multi pronged attack), its difficult to trade well vs a terran as zerg in late game imo

i mean thats something that comes around at like 15 minutes. he has no chance of expanding again and he cant hold his third even. you could basically just make 100 banes and roll in a semi line by this point

goofy, why dont you start overmaking macro hatches that you dont inject, then start cutting them back slowly as you find yourself getting min starved more often. another 2-3 to start, then your gtd larvae, less mins, etc

i set queens to 5. i set spacebar to jump between hatches and just 5 space v space v space v space v

it works prety well except when i dont have a 1:1 queen/hatch ratio

I do same but with '4'...

I think there is a much faster way by holding shift, then its just **** x space click space click space click, opposed to space x click space x click

You can also hold shift and inject using the minmap which is also super fast

do people usually play with default position in the center? i played cs for so f long my hand just lives on wasd. basically makes it a hassle to hotkey above 5, even then i dont like using it for attacking units cause its so slow for me to get to relative to whats going on

It says "from the left side of the keyboard" not to the leftside of the keyboard.

Backspace is on the right side.

So yeah obviously the hands is on the left side.

That`s why you usually have the "unimportant" things on 5-9.

I default to the left side and have actually changed the few hotkeys that are on the right side to be over on the left except ling speed for some reason. I also don't hotkey above 5 for the same reason, but I have yet to find a reason why I would need more than 5 control groups (1-3 for army, 4 for hatcheries, 5 for queens is what I've been using since the start pretty much).

And I use the backspace method with base camera bound to my mouse scroll wheel button. It's really not even that big of a deal if you don't have enough queens. Either press 's' after the cycle to stop position your queens or take an extra half-second and look at the screen. It's so fast you can afford to do that. I kinda like the method I see a lot of Koreans use, which is using location hotkeys and just manually boxing the queens (watching Jaedong do this is ridiculous, he does this faster than I can do a perfectly set-up backspace method cycle), but I don't like location hotkeys.

i always do 1 army then 2 rax 3 fact/port 4 cc's then 5 is either port or vikings vP, ive never tried tabbing through all production on one but it seems annoying and really costly if i missed a tab vs just using numbers. so if i end up having to run away/split/kite with 1, kinda hard for me to micro 5 as well, other than a click a spot and hope he doesnt prioritize them vs my bio
