That's right folks, I just beat a platinum Zerg playing Terran, a race I haven't played since like November and am absolutely terrible at now. How did I do this, you ask?

Im pretty sure i could beat a plat zerg going mass raven....should we get rid of seeker missle too?

I mean, that analogy fails because I'm in platinum league. Can you beat a [your league] player going mass [unit belonging to a race you're terrible at]?

I've long been arguing that mines are OP TvZ. Which is a separate discussion from FS saying he solved TvP by doing that build against someone who took 10 minutes to think "gee maybe I should build a cannon against all these mines".

strat actually seems better versus zerg IMO. cannons are better than spores, obs are invis, and oracles can give detection to other units.

Yeah definitely, qxc already showed us that widow mines alone are good enough to kill one of the best Zergs in the world

the last unranked game I played I planetary fortress rushed my opponent. I'd love to know what strategy that zerg was testing out

If you knew how to read screenshots you'd see that he was playing a ranked game

ok, was placed in gold and spent all day playing random, some thoughts:

TvT: Sky terran still good unit.
TvZ: Didnt play any but I assume the raven build probably still works, and if not, i can just make widow mines.
TvP: Gonna have to keep cheesing this matchup,**** toss

ZvZ: I like mutas...so I like this, I think I have a good feel for it.
ZvT: Im sticking with the infestors, probably with roach/hydra
ZvP: Tried to make swarm hosts, they dont seem to be very effective, gonna have to come up with a plan for this matchup, **** toss

PvP: got raped here trying to go some kindve oracle into skytoss opening, probably going to figure out some kindve 1 base play with stalkers, **** toss
PvT: never played it, dont have a single clue what im going to do either, although i hear storm is a good unit.
PvZ: Skytoss is pretty hilarious here, just going to have to figure out how to stay alive against better players.

4 gate confirmed still a good build. I am 22-6 in PvP thanks to the good 'ol 4 warpgate rush.

i really like the way they unlock the regions for you
NA im masters zerg but starting losing a ton
KR im diamond zerg and use it to practice zerg
EU im plat random and MMR growing.

makes it easy to switch races without having ur ratings tank right away

so playing unranked still puts you against laddering opponents and will affect their w/l and points?
