Anybody should win when playing 8 on 5.

I just played an unranked game as Terran to see how ez mode they are, opened with a hellbat drop (had terrible macro btw, haven't played T in months) against a Protoss, killed 21 workers, boosted out NP EZ GAME. Went back in later and killed 9 more just because I could. His economy obv blew after that and I steamrolled him with my bio-hellbat army despite again having awful macro and not-constant production.

did you have a bad experience with making too many bases before or something? also wondering why twice you saw you destroy his army and then sit back and let him remax when you could just rally into his natural with lings til the end of time

what do you do to beat p so ez? seems like an absurd rate

Had lots of Ps going Nexus first vs 14 pool which is basically free wins, otherwise I usually just try to either hit a 10-11 minute roach timing and stream roaches across till I win, or if I scout stargate or other funky stuff maybe roach-hydra, maybe mix in swarm hosts. I typically end the game before P can get strong colossi and/or storm compositions going on. Haven't really had any lategames vs skytoss yet which I know is a huge pain in the ass for Zerg.

For the ZvT:
- I never really know how many bases I should be on, it's not like I want to take a million considering that I can't make enough drones to saturate them while still having an army. I tried to take more when one of my mining bases dried up but I could def be better at doing that.
- Since he made so many widow mines I never felt all that safe just streaming stuff across the map, I felt like I had to advance slowly with overseers and siege units (BLs/swarm hosts) to pick off the mines to avoid losing units way too cost-inefficiently. Esp with lings, they just eat up all your larva and when they all die it's really hard to remax quickly if somehow he puts an army together again.

well thats kinda the other side of taking all the bases. 5k mins isnt gonna help any more than 4k, that way you could have better saturation (ie not having 13 workers on 2 patches, then transferring to be 24/24) as well as extra gas, along with some free larvae. seemed like a couple times you used up the gas on brood lords. thats true about mines but sending in a few (10 or so) would prob take bio long enough to kill off that it would make any mines in range reveal themselves.

kinda hard to see where you're spending your apm in a replay, but after one of the big engagements you had your army above his 4th, but like 2 hexes off the watch tower, which let him get a good couple minutes extra off that completely exposed base.

i play t so might be harder than it seems, but seemed like you over fungalled just about every time, ie 4s of damage but you were re fungal-ing every 2 seconds (cant believe how much damage he took to them)

lastly, when hes so low on supply you still had tons of money, why not max on ultra ling so that negates all the mines and should run over a small bio army all the time?

That might have been when I first realized he had ****tons of mines everywhere and I held back waiting until I had overseers with my army.

Yeah, ultras would have been a good finishing move.

thats one of the things i hate most in late game tvz is the big ultra switch. even like he did in that game, add on a ton of rax with the extra mins, but make a ton of reactors, then re-find out every time how bad marines are vs ultras

is it standard now to not even make tanks? seems like marine tank would still be the best

Had a losing record of about 12-15 on my EU smurf in Bronze. I would win a couple, lose a few on purpose. Was roughly 50% after my placement matches.

Get a ZvP where a Bronze tries to cannon rush me, fails terrible. He quits. I get promoted to Silver.

How do other Bronze players stay in Bronze?

New random thing that tilts me:

People with the weird zerg skin that has those awful looking zerglings

How do you get that skin/is it possible to hide it

The transition from marauders to BCs could have been handled a little more gracefully than "lose all marauders for free, then start a zillion BCs and zero vikings."

You know....for a foreign team, they sure do have alot of koreans on it.

Also, in WoL the bronze pool was A LOT bigger. Hots changed that and made bronze easier to get out of by increasing the % of silver and gold players.

So you're just not in the 8% or w/e ridiculously small number bronze is now

my new ZvP go-to build until i lose with it.

9 drone
double extractor trick up to 12 drones
12/10 overlord
the overlord pops right when the pool finishes
make 6 lings
15 queen
17 expo or more lings depending on if you have a chance to end the game.

i know life was doing something similar to this, but i'm not sure what the exact build is.

i'm not sure how much damage you have to do to make this not too all-in.
