How drunk Karak exits games:

my client is consistently hardlocking and constantly hanging for every first game i play vs a real person every time

doesnt matter if i use the preloader

doesnt matter if i load a custom game vs a computer

every time i play another person (ladder or custom) it hangs constantly and then when i inevitably lose because i can barely play it hardlocks for like 30 seconds or so

So, Terran advances on me with a midgame force of marines, tanks, and widow mines, and basically lays siege to my base while my ling-bane force chills unsure of how to engage. How do I even touch that army? I had a widow mine kill 20 banelings as I tried to chase down a bio force. It feels like widow mines counter literally anything I can do (roaches might be okay if the tanks didn't eat them alive), except broods but I'm dead before I have those. What composition WOULD be good there?

also, im really amazed that every time i play drunk i have a tendency to... make way too many drones. i was on 3 base and 100 workers by like the 13 or 14 min mark of that game lol

Boom back in masters

In 2v2 tournament, my partner and I lost to a pair of masters players (MUST BE NICE TO BE IN MASTERS AND CRUSH THE LOCAL TOURNAMENT FULL OF DONKS), beat a couple pairs of bad kids (first was like silver/bronze, second silver/platinum, resulted in one epic game on molten crater where we had a billion bases but Toss OP built up a really tough tempest/phoenix/archon/stalker composition, game was all over the place and took like 50 minutes), then lost to the same pair of masters players again in the losers bracket :/ :/ :/ to get eliminated.

1v1, I played a gold Toss in the first round who cannoned my natural every. single. game. Game 1 on Akilon I wasn't really prepared and had to cancel my natural, put me a bit behind, he followed up with a decent gateway attack w/ 2 void rays that I took decent damage from and I could never quite stabilize. He raped me with storms to end it. Game 2 I pick Whirlwind, he tries to cannon but I get the probe (twice, he attempted it again after the first one failed), I go to 3 bases, he tries a gateway attack but I hold pretty easily with roaches, get hydra out in case he goes stargate again but eventually I max out and attack and win pretty easily (he never expanded behind his attack).

Game 3, the rubber match, I see 2 probes coming so I know some serious **** is going down. I surround and kill one with drones, second one blocks himself off in my natural with 4 pylons. Knowing that's way too big of an investment, I wait for all pylons + a cannon to finish before canceling my nat, then just crank out slow lings and send them into his base. He doesn't fully wall off so I get in, kill the pylon powering his gate/forge, get into the main, dance around the nexus taking hp off when I can while he pulls probes, eventually get such overwhelming numbers that I can just right-click the nexus to win.

Now I'm playing one of the guys on the masters team we lost to twice in 2v2. :/

Lost 2-0 obv, now I'm playing what looks like a pretty good plat Terran.

Funny, the last game was against mech which I usually struggle against but game 2 he went bio and I played badly and lost (on Whirlwind, at that :/ )

Back to masters. Embarassing that it took me almost 50 games to do so. Still no signs of actual challenging opponents, since almost all of my losses are just me throwing.

Lost the last one on neo planet s, at least I can watch mlg now. M/m/m/hellbat pretty tough composition to fight against :/ :/

Kid was a clown too, danced his marines at the end like he's playing in GSL

widows need a nerf. they are ALWAYS cost efficient. 75/25 can 1 shot a 125/50 stalker, let alone ling/bane/hydra

also, make splash 35 plz. one mine one-shotting 20 workers is not cool.

Does anyone else have these pet peeves on ladder (yes, I'm mad)?

-people that play random and refuse to tell you their race (yes, I know it's their right, but it's just annoying)

-people that say "hf hf" instead of "gl hf" or "gl" or "hf" or anything else

-people that mass mutas in ZvZ

-people that blindly blink their stalkers into brood lords when they have no vision of what's underneath/behind them because they saw MC do it in GSL

-people that blindly run their hellions into your main even when it's clear they're all going to die and they are not going to kill that many drones because they saw MVP do it in GSL

is it really standard for people to tell you their race in random? i always assume people are lying that do that until i know otherwise.
