watching jaedong now

he's going basically mass hydra as his base comp in every match-up

in zvp he added in corruptors and swarm hosts (and got raped by colossus/VR)

in zvt he goes almost exclusively hydra w/ infestor until he gets vipers and ultras on hive tech. barely any lings even. seen this vs both bio and mech, altho no vipers vs bio (and he got owned).

Saw this post, dled the update, was pleasantly surprised at how much better it is. And agree with Karak that it still has room to improve, but thank god for viewing with friends and it's kinda cool you can make the AI do a specific build vs you now.

My injects were pretty much perfect up to 11:30 (queen in main has 0 energy, queen at nat has 8, neither ever made a creep tumor). I was wrong about the upgrade timing though, 2/2 didn't finish until after I had basically lost and she was coming into my nat.

You were right Karak, I went into a solo game to try the build w/o worrying about anything else and I maxed at like 12:40.

Also dunno if it's my PC right now somehow but holy **** is the game laggy since installing 2.0.4, wat?

Okay, so I rebooted, started a game, units were still moving kinda jerky, actions were delayed, etc. Then I got the "waiting for player" dialog for myself which counted down for 5 seconds before going away.

Keep in mind this game was AGAINST THE ****ING AI.

Anyone else having lag issues since 2.0.4?

That included lair, had 2/2 well underway, and had some creep spread going too.

According to TL the lag is because the game keeps downloading **** even after it tells you it's done, you have to go to info -> connection or something in the launcher to make sure it's REALLY not downloading anything before you're good to go.

the quickest ive ever maxed in a real game vs a competent player was 11:55 w/ lair, +1, roach speed, ling speed

actually in game 1 from this highlight vid you can see i maxed at 11:47 (and prob could have done it sooner)

im not sure villain qualifies as a "competent opponent" tho

you can max on 3 hatch 2 base almost as quick as the 3 base variant

the transitions are obviously just more awful

Haha. I've had tough games against bronze league players in HotS. It's no fun having to relearn everything... Or in my case learn it for the first time.

Wow unranked matches are fun/funny. Went to drone scout at 13 supply vs. a silver league random, found out he was terran, somehow my drone got 2 SCV kills and prevented him from landing the barracks that was floating when I arrived for over a minute.
