Kind of an interesting format, everyone's split up into 16 player groups for a single elimination bracket and if you win, you're in!

Group 1: True (from team 8) qualifies, Supernova + Artosis do not make it
Group 2: Seed wins to escape jjakji status, lots of Proleague guys (Skyhigh, P7GAB, Ssak, Hyvaa) plus Proleague caster Whiplash fail. Seed only had to knock out 1 of those guys (Skyhigh) though, lol
Group 3: Some random named Labyrinth wins, beating Sparta (who 2-0'd Major) and lolBisu on the way
Group 4: s2 (of SKT1) wins, knocking out Crank, IM.Last, and Woongjin.Light
Group 5: MVP.Lure wins over Sirius and STX.Dear
Group 6: KT.Hoejja, CJ.Bong, and Ax.Miya cannibalize themselves on one half of the bracket so that fnatic.Alive can clean up the other half and beat Miya in the finals
Group 7: Thorzain gets 2-0'd by StarTale.Zero in his first match (lol), but the winner is some rando Korean that doesn't even have an English ID, beating FXO.Lucky in the finals
Group 8: SKT1.Rain wins an easy bracket to escape Code B
Group 9: Shine (the Khan one, not former TSL) beats MMA in the finals. Poor MMA
Group 10: Some random (Team8.HS) beats SKT1.Best (who knocked out Azubu.Sleep) in the finals
Group 11: SKT1.JyJ knocks out Woongjin.Zero but loses to REVIVALLLL in the finals, who also knocked out ClassicPrime

Lots of detail but I find the qualification process interesting. Seems pretty cutthroat to have so many good-but-kinda-marginal players trying to qualify with so few spots available.

Also, Azubu has signed Supernova, Ganzi, Symbol, and BboongBboong; in barely over a month, they've gone from "that team that sponsors Violet" to a legit SC2 operation that could make a splash in team leagues.

They make it so easy too. I'm pretty sure any foreigner can sign up to play and you're in, no questions asked, you just have to be in Korea.

Random Korean name guy is a trainee on CJ Entus according to John the translator. Also, Labyrinth is an SKT1 trainee. People are rumoring that Scarlett is playing in qualifiers, but I doubt it. She's playing in some IPL showmatch in Vegas in a week. Besides, she could probably get seeded if she wanted to.

School cancelled tomorrow, I don't know why, but it is. So drinking has begun.

I saw this on TL the other day. Apparently you should never suggest a TL player is going to lose ever. Actually it was probably a case of the mod not reading what the guy actually wrote but still lolTLmods.

Code A qualifiers day 2:

group 1: SKhan.Sola wins, taking out Choya and CJ.Hero along the way. Puma hilariously loses 2-0 to some random KT Terran that was 0-2 in Proleague.
group 2: Zenio takes out FXOasd on his way to winning the group, causing such huge embarassment that asd retires from SC2 the next day.
group 3: Arthur (formerly of Slayers) takes out T8.Terminator and SKT1.Sacsri (who beat Azubu.Eve, aka a girl, as well as Oz - sorry bsball) to win the group
group 4: MVPKiller takes it, beating KT.Action in the finals (who took out Ax.Alicia); Stork got 2-0'd in his first match by some random
group 5: FXOTear wins against TheStC, who took out Mini. Jaehoon loses in round 2, obviously.
group 6: jjakji gets 2-0'd in his first match, lol. SKhan.Reality wins a pretty easy group (Golden lost in round 2, I guess)
group 7: CJ.Effort wins without dropping a single map in a group featuring Dark, Ragnarok, Heart, and T8.Savage
group 8: SKT1.Soo wins without dropping a map; he beats STX.Classic, who 2-0'd JYP to the surprise of nobody
group 9: CrazyHydra takes out Jangbi in a pretty boring group, I guess Inca is some old dude who lost 2-0 to a nobody in his first match
group 10: T8.Cure beats Azubu.San and CJ.Hydra but loses to StarTale.Avenge (who had it easy) in the finals
group 11: Maru wins a pretty easy group, taking out SKT1.Brown (formally of Slayers), who beat Tails early on
group 12: Yugioh wins a group featuring nobody notable

Classic Kane

So, after reaching the to[p of my diamond leagues and knocking on the masters door, I started a real job at a trading firm here in NYC. 7 months later I log in to play - and it's all gone. All those hours honing those skills, gone. I don't remember timings, how to move lings, saturation, etc.

Man this is the worst feeling time to just watch koreans on TL
