Starcraft 2 (GAME IS NOW FREE!) - Page 573 - Video Games

Other than the fact that LoL was first in time and Dota2 is entirely free (right?), what is the difference between the two? Any big design or mechanical stuff?

ZvT, double hatch before pool into 11:00 ultralisk cavern into 18:00 ultra max: ACHIEVED. Notes for future: need 4th base + all 8 gases sooner. Minerals not important.

I made it to diamond league with Terran and still have no idea what to do TvT. The other matchups are pretty easy; kill them before fifteen minutes or get raped.

Any good TvT builds floating around?

I'm half joking but I used to do that build sometimes when I played random and would get tilted at rolling another TvT. No gas, no addons, just pump out marines and hit around 42 supply with all your SCVs. Hide the build as much as possible (put raxes at the edges of your base so they don't get scanned, don't show more than 4 marines at the front of your natural ramp).

Didn't watch the replay but when I used to cheese TvTs I would proxy 2 rax + build 1 in base (faking 1 rax expo) and then attack when I had about 7-8 marines (3rd rax would probably be under construction iirc). Pull all but 2-3 scvs and use MULEs to keep the marine rally coming. The longer you wait, the more likely it is they can defend (bunker mass repair = lose, reactored hellions behind wall = lose, react quickly and group their 3-4 marines with scvs = lose).

Also you want to make sure to send a marine + scv to clear watchtowers so they don't see your huge marine army walking across the map.

I watched Gumiho stream earlier and he was going gas first cloaked banshee/reactor hellion every TvT. I have no experience with gas first builds but I'll try it out before I resort to marine/scv all ins.

not that hot tho, but is probably plat/diamond from my 5 mins of watching her stream (she had decent probe saturation and didn't get supply blocked but had 2 robos on 2 base and was floating ~500/500 and forgot to build probes frequently)

i think mech is viable tvt... esp w/ fast xpo + planetary fortress on your expo. tanks are pretty tough to attack. the downside is immobility. hellion harass to stop / hit xpos.
