random thought- does it annoy anyone else when casters (khaldor in particular) say that zergs are going for 14 pools against protoss when they are actually going for 15 pools
We select random like a boss and roll a PvZ on Desert Oasis. Eager to try out a new form of cheese, I build a gateway, a core, and then a STARGATE and make sure to hide it in the middle of my base so stalkers can hopefully deny any scouts patrolling the perimeter of my base. (he doesn't try to scout)
I chrono out a couple void rays and trot over to the enemy base. They arrive at 7:40; their expedition ends at 10:40. Their 3 minute reign of terror resulted in the death of:
5 queens
8 drones
8 spore crawlers (morphing or finished, none of them cancelled, so these also double as drone kills)
1 spawning pool
1 roach warren
I kind of want to go for, like, mass raven autoturret rush just to see if I can, but I'm also worried about how damaging it would be to my psyche if I were to get TOO greedy and somehow lose a game if I'm unlucky enough to face someone competent at the same time as I try a completely ridonkulous build. Will mull on this for a bit.
I think I just need to do it in moderation. I spent a couple days doing nothing but practice league and I was AWFUL when I went back to gold league and was like "wait, what's this 'faster' speed?". A game here and there shouldn't hurt though.
Sometimes you just need to sit back, build a lot of hellions, and watch entire mineral lines burn alive as some noob tries desperately (and fails) to save them. I have no sympathy for those that lie in my path of destruction.
