Ugh I think I have to give up baneling busting blindly vs every T. I think I'll try and figure out how to win with muta/ling/bane and 2/2 every game vs. these low diamond players and never ever deviate from that, until it stops working.

If those are my only options it would be because I'm a jerk. I loved ZvT like 60+ rank ago , I would just baneling bust and win almost every time! It's only now that I'm starting to dislike ZvT, since it doesn't work as awesome as it used to.

ZvT mistake is my fav thing to play. Muta harass, ling runbys, charging when they unseige.

But super late game ZvT is my least favorite when u have broods or ultras, are mined out everywhere and drops are just so hard to deal with in low Econ games.

At least you'll get to defend guilty people for large sums of money at some point or something right? Then you can use that money to buy some free time to do things you love, like play starcraft 2.

I feel like there's only two reasons you'd default with a blind all-in while laddering:

1. You hate the matchup and/or are bad at it, therefore you cheese to give you the highest probability of winning while also finishing the game as quickly as possible.

2. You like to troll / get your opponent to rage because they lost to an all-in/cheese (aka a jerk).

The two are obviously not mutually exclusive.

i understand the pain of not being able to play.

i'm in my second year of a phd program and got married recently.

time is my most valuable commodity these days. it's not so much about being tired, but every time i play i feel guilty as hell that i'm not doing something else. i probably went from about 50 games a week to 0-5 per week.

Also don't get a crappy job that makes you work more than 40 hours per week. It is better to make ~100k/year at a 40/hr week job than more at a job that requires 60-80+ hours per week. Like the dude that getting married says, time is his most precious commodity... once you have enough to trade your most valuable commodity (time) for more dollars you don't need. It's all about life balance.

If you don't have time to play SC2 (other than temporary, transitional periods of your life) then you have failed at life.

Meh, nothing wrong with working 60+ hours/week with a professional degree to start or at a big 4 or something. The ends justify the means. I wouldn't do it for long though. (Though I'm not sure if this is what you consider a "transitional period", I wouldn't)

Having said that I work ~40 +-5 hours a week. Between that and exercising I don't have much time to play during the week. And the time I do have I'm so damn tired I don't want to play all that much.
