What's the general Protoss response to 2rax marauder + concussive shell pressure? They tear through stalkers, zealots can be easily kited, immortals are 2nd tier tech and expensive...

stay up the ramp and forcefield ez game... tho if you happen to have your natural, you need all 3 units to defeat this. zealot, stalker, sentry. decent forcefields, zealots in front tearing them up. protoss is pretty fragile at some points in the game and requires a little bit of an elegant defense against the power of the marine marauder stim pushes

they haven't taken division tiers out yet? that system is stupid imo. way better to know where you stand against all gold players instead of just players in some gold division.

Blizzard are completely ******ed when it comes to rankings etc... remember when they removed that you can see your losses? so pointless... also yeah it would be 100x better to know where u stand against all in your "league" instead of 100 people.. but I suppose some herpderper at blizz says its been researched to be better for da casuals like this

anyone know if its true that your MMR gets reset if you don't play a game for an entire season? Thinking about getting back into sc2 but worried I will be absolutely stomped for a long time... haven't played seriously in about a year.

Zealots + sentries. Though it depends when it hits of course. You want your first 2 or so stalkers out on the map, checking his base, seeing when he's moving out, kiting marines and just being annoying until he has conc shells at which point you get the hell out.

Buy as much time as you can and don't make too many stalkers. Rely on forcefield and let him engage you.

This is all assuming a 1g/expand or something similar. Anything less greedy will hold easily.

I didn't play at all last season and mine wasn't reset. It still says I have to play 1 game.

After looking around some more I think it's 2 seasons, but I can't confirm that. I'm debating between just playing and waiting until November.

You guys could just play and get stomped for 20 or however many games it takes. Contrary to popular belief, theres actually no negative life effects from losing at starcraft.

my ladder anxiety was huge but no poker anxiety at all. i would get hyped up. before ladder though, i needed 3 beers usually before my first match

I don't understand at all, he droned to 10 and then pulled all his drones to attack me (and actually tried to micro and stuff). Does that win against a 6pool or something, on the 1 out of 20 chance that I rolled Zerg and that's what I was doing? If he's just trying to tank his MMR, playing out 4 minute games seems like a dumb way to do it
