pecota said he'll go with me, but then again i can just sit in my a/c home without smelly nerds everywhere and a bad view and just watch all the matches

I had a Terran scout my 4gate yesterday, and he said in chat "why 4gate? why not play normal?"

I did not respond. A few minutes later, when stalkers and zealots were raining death upon his bunkers, then his second command center, and then his first, he said "you gay" and quit.

It is a terrible burden, knowing nothing other than the 4gate when I roll that godforsaken Protoss race.

On another note, I wish there was such a thing as unranked matches. I've been searching for an FFA game for 10 minutes now and got nothing, and I don't really feel like caring enough to ladder at the moment. Come on Blizzard.

There are unranked matches. Go to the custom games and search for the map you want to play on. You'll get random opponents that range from super bad to super good.

There are also king of the hill custom games where 10 people can in the game at once, and it'll take turns putting a loser vs the winner of previous match.
icjug is one of the koth types... and search for "obs", there is another.

Except like 99% of my play now and before is based around creative timings. I would much rather try to hit a sick timing than play to "macro".
