korean zergs really love their 2 base lair roach timings in zvz

So, question: at the start of games I'll try to double up workers on the close mineral patches. Oftentimes I'll get them doubled up and then like 20 seconds later they'll get fidgety and one of them will move off the close patch. Why do they do this? Do they hate me? When I watch GSL or whatever I never see this happen, their workers always stay on the close patches.

MVP style is the best style to play if you can master it. it's just really hard to do. but if you can... it's amazing.

I used to 9 pool spinecrawler rush a lot. You want to have a drone or 2 in villain's base when your pool finishes so you can place the spine immediately after building the 6 lings. The hatchery's vision does not extend all the way to the edge of the creep, so sometimes you can place a spine on the very edge of the creep without being seen. If your building spine does get spotted and attacked make sure to cancel it before it dies.

The 7 pool is my go to ZvP build now. I beat 4 out of 5 tosses tonight with my 7 pool opening. If toss scouts I make 6 lings then start making drones, if not, I keep making lings and get an easy win.

Even at low masters MMR tosses will 4 gate fairly often after I 7 pool, which is incredibly easy to hold, especially when I have lings running around their base and see it coming a mile away

I played a low masters zerg yesterday who, in TvZ, blind 10pooled into (IIRC) a blind spine crawler in his main. I feel like he must have been maphacking, because wtf otherwise.

Also this guy apparently didn't know about magic boxing and lost something like 40 mutas to 4 thors over the course of the game.

Interestingly, 10 pool doesn't really counter 2 rax builds that aren't super all-in. Sure, the attack doesn't do any damage, but you don't have an expansion or any drones.

Finally legit! He tried to proxy 3rax me ZvT, I (prob luckily, since my scouting sucks) scouted it and started getting lings out just in time.

Zerg definately imba, Queens now able to make silver players to beat plat guys.

I lost my next ZvT, since I now have an allergic reaction to building roaches I felt kind of lost tbh. I went mass ling but my opponent had enough stuff that they never did any serious damage, then I introduced infestors and BLs into the mix but he had like 30 vikings or something ridiculous and took a lot of them out; I managed to kill all the vikings with my infestors (turns out they're a good unit?), but he was also spamming mass turrets everywhere so using an air army wasn't an option. Also I forgot that banelings exist so to nobody's surprise going ling/infestor/ultra didn't work very well.

Then I got the chance to execute the Xaston Approved™ 7pool in a ZvZ (it's even more gleeful when I'm random since they expect it 66% less!) and he quit before even getting any lings out.

Xaston, my next attempt resulted in him scouting it as I pulled my drones, and when I got to his base he blocked off his ramp with his drones and I couldn't get in his main with my lings; I put the 3 spines down (my drones got in), but he swarmed them with his drones and I had to cancel and then my drones died. What do I do in that situation?
