rekrul story: A guy I used to back lost to him in an earlyish round in the 5k (10k?) hu a few years ago. Afterwards said something like "I don't think I could ever beat him". He ended up winning the bracelet and had a run in the final match where he won 27 consecutive hands or something completely absurd like that.

edit: apparently it was the 2007 5k hu.

Zergs: what's your inject routine? Like, what's the exact sequence of buttons you press to do it?

Right now I have a queen at each base on hotkey 5, and I'll double-tap 5 to go to whichever base it takes me to, hit V and click the hatch, then manually scroll to the other base and hit V/do the inject. Is that a good/bad way to do it compared to other options? Like, I guess you can hit backspace (although that's kind of an AIDS key, should prob rebind it?) to cycle between your bases and do injects that way? Or if you're really gosu, select your queens and do an inject through the minimap without ever switching the screen to your hatches?

There's likely a ton of problems with that MLG analysis. It's not hard to think of a few.

And on top of that you can't really compare a several day(I realize they cite Sunday only) event to a 3 hour sports event.

I hotkey each queen, so my injects look like 22v33v44v55v66v... I'm sure this is the second worst way to do it.

The right way to do it is to put all your queens in one hotkey and then cycle through them afaik, but I've always been to lazy to check which button cycles through units in a hotkey. We'll pretend it's &.

So it would look like: 2v&v&v&v&v... this also gets your creep queens on a regular rotation too.

set "spacebar" to visit each base. used to be default delete i think

5 space v space v space v space v

makes it really easy

also, gonna play my first game in 5-6 weeks tonight. very scared. hope i dont get owned too hard

I just use the minimap and have all my queens on 2. Click 2v then click on a hatch on minimap, hit v, click next hatch on mini map, hit v, click next hatch on minimap, and so on and so forth until I no longer have anymore hatcheries to inject.

Also I just got promoted to platinum :-), finally.

I use a similar method to you goofy, except I don't scroll between bases, I click the minimap. The backspace method is probably the quickest but goes screwy if you ever have fewer queens than hatches. Clicking the minimap might be better than it if you have great mouse accuracy - I use that sometimes as I'm clicking the minimap anyway but my mouse accuracy is terrible so there's not much difference between that and what I normally use for me.

Huge Brag: I can now play anything on a tablet as I could on a PC including SC2... have to turn of 2nd monitor tho... and it's a tablet (TF300T) even though it looks like a netbook the keyboard is detachable.

And this isn't just for games either...

As long as I have an internet connection in both the PC and the tab, I have full access to the PC from the tab... The tablet has a USB port so I can connect a wired mouse and it has a keyboard dock so it's like a mini PC anywhere the internet exists.
