And yeah, that series is super good for new players imo. I played a TvT a couple nights ago where at the start of the game my opponent was like "i'm such a noob you're gonna crush me" (and I did) and I recommended he look up those vids to get started afterwards.

He'd rather mess up, stack his broods, and lose a ton, just so he can blame the balance of the MU than actually play well in late game.

however, in defense of balance, i do think perfectly play from zerg is always > perfect play from protoss in the late game. if they go in even, the zerg SHOULD win.

im not sure if that qualifies as solid game design, but over the long run i think that sort of balances it. obviously on the pro level where lots of guys play very, very well it's not good for protoss players. i do think protoss is a 2 base aggro race tho.

do note my zvp is my best match-up, and i dont think toss is imba or anything. if anything in the grand scheme of things, the odds slightly tip in Z's favor. i just find late game zvp incredibly frustrating.

also toss players: when you cannon a 3rd, you need to make 2 cannons. 1 isnt enough. queens are pretty good.
