Finished everything but the banshee one, the 2 marines vs 3 zealots one, and the tank + medivac one. The only two that gave me any real trouble was the zealot split vs banelings because they would keep derping into the banelings together until I realized to use hold position. Also had trouble with the infested terran bomb one. I just couldn't get the final two to work on the tanks in the correct way. The ones I haven't done, I'm just not even going to bother with most likely.

so you launch the ITerrans 1 at a time to each side, making sure the tank volleys both attack the marines. the moment your IT dies, immediately launch it to the other side. keep doing this until the marines are decimated for the most part. eventually you're gonna want to put an IT on each tank so the tanks hit each other. you can finish one of the tanks off with an IT if you put it right next to it.

Arghhh just lost a 4v4 game that was kinda nuts.

It became 3v3 real quick with a guy on our side who left real quick and a guy on their team disconnected right after. After that another one of our guys quit pretty quick cause he was a quitter. Then it was me and some protoss vs. them 3. Then not that long after he quit and it was 3v1. That's 17 minutes into this 36 minute replay, fyi.

I'm not one to not gg or leave and just try and make it take longer for someone to win but they didnt have many bases nor an army that ever seemed that scary so I said what the heck I'll just keep playing.

Coulda won so easy too. Coulda easily had 3x as much gas income and a couple dozens spines. Coulda easily thrown down a roach warren or teched up to brood lord to kill the thors more easy. Coulda just ignored the thors and kept building/expanding/killing their undefended ****.

Games like that are cool though I can feel my noob self getting tougher and my noob APM rising to meet the occasion.

Shouldn't have attacked into the 13 thors!

For the friendly fire one, you can kill the marine groups by dropping an egg in the bottom-left, bottom-center, and then center. I'm not sure about the exact timing on when to drop it on the tanks, but I think I just dropped 2 eggs at once and got lucky.

For fungal death, I found it easier to first drop a bunch of infested terrans, and only use 2 fungals to stall while they hatch. After the infestors are out of energy, you can use them to tank a few hits from the zealots, since they're useless at that point.

Haha they're so fun though. I just loving killing workers and taking down expansions, and in 4v4 there are so many for me to do that to.

hooray, finally won a TvT on metalopolis when the other guy floats to gold. scouted it from xelnaga after my depot and probe rushed. 12 SCVs to 8 and I micro'd like a champ!

So I have been trying Starcraft Master, only 5/30 challenges are Zerg? Sad panda. LOL Z no micro. Annoying though, they could have easily had Muta stuff, baneling splitting etc etc.

i'd really love to see someone give me a good explanation of why i lost this game. im not saying the match up is imbalanced, but that it just takes an incredible amount more of skill to play zerg than protoss and i dont see how it's close.

i mean really this is pathetic. i watched the replay and am still at a complete loss for how i lost. and this isnt just me reacting badly. i really have no clue. like with 20/20 hindsight, i have no idea what i could have gone back and done better to win the game. none.

i dont think ive so thoroughly outplayed an opponent and then lost a game in this fashion in a year.

i swithced back to standard play from mutaling because i was so tired of the tears constantly in every game. guess il have to revert back.

Tbh, I don't really see how you "thoroughly outplayed" him. If anything, he pretty thoroughly outplayed you. He defended everything you did pretty perfectly. He lost a lot of sentries, yeah, but that's about it. I think you definitely could have won the game after you sniped his original sentries, but I think you chose the worst way to attack. Straight up that ramp into his wall? Anything would have been better than that IMO.

You did try a two-prong attack, which was nice, but that needed to be way earlier. You should have been doing that from the start. By the time you thought to do that, he had enough army that he could split up and be just fine. Drops would have been a good choice if you went from them straightaway, or nydus I guess too, though that's a lot riskier. I love multi-prong attacks, but you just can't spread him out enough unless you can threaten the main when he gets a decent standing army.

I'm also confused about the last sentence. You switched away from Muta/Ling because Protosses complained too much? Am I reading that correctly?

yes you are, plus it's the way DRG plays.

but he was on 3 base <60 harvesters at the 30 min mark while im on 6 base 75+ harvesters and hive tech. he lost his nat along the way and had his 4th killed twice. i fail to see how im not ahead and how that's not thoroughly outplaying someone. i am behind at no point in that game until he's standing in my spawn line and kills all my OLs

I guess we just have different opinions on what constitutes thoroughly outplaying someone. I watched that game, and I didn't ever get the feeling that's what was going on. I'm not saying you were behind, but you definitely weren't in as great a position as you seem to think. If you were, you wouldn't have lost.

Also, games like that make me think that DRG's hyper aggressive muta/ling style is the way the matchup should be played right now. I mean, I have no idea how you're supposed to kill that army. I guess not having a bunch of BLs morphing right over his army would have helped, but aside from that, if you don't kill it straight-up in the first battle, you're done. No remax that you can get out in time can touch the typical remnants of a toss army after you've fought it the first time. The solution for now might have to be to kill them before they can get there. DRG apparently thinks that's the correct solution.
