my gf and i watch that show, we are a few episodes behind. i have an odd feeling i'm going to be made fun of when that comes on...

I honestly don't see how phoenix range is supposed to be viable when it's on on the ****ing fleet beacon. I hate the fleet beacon. I don't want to pay 300/200 for that **** just so I can spend another 150/150 so phoenixes aren't complete **** units. I don't care if motherships and carriers come with that ****, THE RENT IS TOO DAMN HIGH. Put the range upgrade at the twilight council and for god sakes, in HOTS please consider making that building cost a reasonable amount of money.

I like going 3 base fast high templar with like 20 gates and just storming everywhere until terran is dead. Of course, with proper scouting they can just come murder me when I'm waiting for storm to finish...

Terrans are bad though. They don't understand how much damage they can do when that archives/bay goes down to start teching to AOE. When you scout that ****, drop the main while attacking the front. Most times that will just end the game.

this was probably my easiest toss win ever.
it was 3/4 base vs 3/4 base. I had a single medivac 8 marine drop in his main snipe the templar archives, robo bay, and robo facility. ezpz

One of my problems against toss, is the battles speed up on me.
toss has a lot of fast units, chargelots and blink, and its other two units colossus and HTs have pretty good range. in tvt or tvz i feel as though i have time to setup, in tvp i always feel like the battle is instantly on top of me. Where this really becomes a problem is EMPs and viking colossus snipes are critical in the start of a fight, if you aren't successful at those, you are pretty much dead. I don't think this is a balance issue though, this is a i just need to get better at ghost/viking control, and knowing when and where the toss army is.

edit to add: after reading AK's post, I think i need to switch something up slightly in tvp. In tvt, once i'm on 3 base, i very rarely mule, and just use scans very liberally, this might not be a bad idea for tvp, to see when stuff is being researched, know where in his base i need to drop to snipe critical tech structures, when his army is on the map and open to drops etc...

ug 0-4 today. i'm done.
unfortunately, i can't whine about balance, as i think i was markedly ahead going into the mid game and made fundamental mistakes in every game.
two games against toss, held 3G robo 1 game DTs another going 1 rax expo, still lost.
two zerg games, 1 i scouted well but didn't adjust to the scouting, 2nd game was all army positioning.
I think i need to work on army positioning and transition into mid game. I think my macro is ok, but i probably need to review that some too.

If you could scan him, find out where he put his robo bay/templar archives and then do some kind of multi-pronged drop where you snipe that tech structure - we'll that be really ****ing good. **** like this makes me want to play terran.
