Played my placement match finally 2v2 for this season. Wanted to get a warm up game in before 1v1 laddering since I hadn't played in awhile.

My idiot teammate wanted control of my supply depot so he wouldn't have to ask to get out. I said well then I'd have to ask you to get out. He said, "oh no, i'd give you control of it!"

I tell him to get bent. He warns me that he might have to kill it off if I'm not letting him out. Do what you gotta do I tell him.

Anyway, first attack he just gives up like a little bitch. I hold off the attack and go on to win.

Either this is just ******ed conversation or there is some kind of command which gives control of a single unit or w/e to an ally.

Don't get too frustrated if you don't get promoted right away.

I've been hovering in the top 8 of my league the entire season. I've got 62 wins, and I'm winning more than I'm losing according to sc2ranks, yet I'm still in bronze.

I've heard it's the toughest league to get promoted out of and I'm starting to agree with that.

But I know if I just stay patient and keep at it I'll be promoted soon enough (took a break for the last week and a half or so). You know, if you're in high gold 1v1 you're in something like the top 10% of all players on the EU server. So being promoted to silver is a bigger deal than most people originally think, imo.

Not that silvers are necessarily that much better than bronze, but still it's a nice step in the right direction and means you're better than over half the total players on that server. (75% ish iirc)
