JStunna is right but it also helps deny scouting of buildings/army. Helps alot more on maps with small base sizes and helps Terran the most because their buildings are so bulky/massive. Opponents sacrificial overlord has alot more ground to cover or not get that information.

Early on, your units outrange theirs, later you should hypothetically have control all the way up through your expansion choke so the buildings sticking out aren't a liability. Either way, it's really hard to "abuse" when those buildings still matter. Possibly in the mid game when mutas are out, but you can lift them if needed.

Still seems somewhat risky, but the logic is sound.

2 times today playing with Needle we got cannon rushed.

The 2nd time was ridiculous. The **** started outside the base and just kept creeping forward. I swear he probably had 50+ cannons by the time I gave up. Just kept creeping forward, little by little. There is nothing you can do about it if you don't get it early.

I'm probably going to get banned from this game because I was saying every bad thing I could think of and saying it in the chat. **** it though, I don't care. It's cheap and they can go **** themselves. ****ing pussy ass ****, have to play like a bunch of cowards just to win.

It will be a miracle if they don't report me. haha It was pretty bad.

I should have just surrendered when Needle backed out after they took over his base and I said I was pretty much done, but I held my ground for as long as I could.

Never thought about that really. One of those things I just don't know about. I guess I could have. In fact, it's a good idea. But I didn't think about it. I was more or less concerned with trying build up an army and hold him off, which didn't work too well.

His partner, another Protoss, sucked pretty bad because I took out his Stalker army 2 times.

However, it still doesn't change the fact that people do stupid **** like that. I say play the GD game instead of being a coward.

EDIT: But have to say we got placed into Gold, going 3-2. In all honesty, I don't care if we lose because it's just a game. I just hate how we lose because it's usually to something stupid like that. In fact, both of our losses were because of that.

This, toss a few cannons up & you should be ahead since your opponent will have most likely spent more than you on his cannons. Then, just tech to Colossus or Carrier (since both have better range than cannons). Also, you could attempt a drop, since your opponent probably didn't enough cannons to protect the entire air distance to his base (although he very well may have put some in his base).

I wouldn't call scv rushing cheese, since you should generally have the advantage at all times (unless you cut workers for some reason).

The large problem is that the rusher more easily surrounds than the defender. But I agree that it's probably pretty easy to defend against.

Epic 35 minute TvZ that was even for most of the game. I went ling/roach/infestor/muta, he went MMM with tanks and some banshees/vikings thrown in for good measure. Losing this one hurt. I thought I played pretty well tbh, but I just couldn't pull through in the end. I really should have taken my high ground expo, I don't know why it never crossed my mind. Damn, I'm ****ing exhausted after this one.

sometimes I feel like a scrub at this game.

played 4 games with stunna. Won game 1 somehow TvP. ZvP next game I supply lock myself when I have lots of larva popping for a defense of his 4 gate. PvP 3rd game I get into a fight when I'm up one base on him and I misclick and attack my own immortal and lose. ZvP game 4 I baneling bust and it kinda works but void rays raaaaape my 3 queens.

#1 in my diamond division with 45 apm is a brag i think.

my division is probably brand new and it's just a matter of time before i start facing better diamond players and getting my ass-kicked, but still #1 diamond does feel like a bit of an accomplishment
