I've been doing PvP's with the intention of 3g/robo or 3g/blink, but my core is always done way before theirs, or whatever, so I just end up 4 gating because I know I'll be done before they are

FF don't even matter when you're putting 2 pylons next to their ramp. Even if they FF you out when you try to move up, they won't have enough firepower to kill both pylons. And they will only have 1 FF so after they burn it, they are screwed. Walk up, warp in, game over.
If you're at the Bronze/Gold level (different accounts) you should do it.
4gate to Diamond afaik.

You will make plat easy with a good 4 gate. It's great to even 4 gate zerg, but that goes away in diamond. And I didn't know people tried a 4 gate with 2 gas? Seems like it would always be ultra late.
They don't 4 gate do they. Dummies.

My "4gate to Diamond" was a joke towards Go Get It because all he ever did was 4gate. Then he learned that joke of a build called the FFE and made it to Masters.
Probabry 4gated to Masters too. But no really, Platinum is like Gold players who can macro properly, but still can't really micro the best or have some leaks in their builds.
I'm expecting to be promoted back to Platinum fairly quickly as long as I keep playing. Before I dropped my MMR I was probably mid-high Platinum.

I can macro well enough to be where i am, I have leaks in unit control and some of my builds are leaky. It's why I practice them all!
