Why is it that I'm losing all these games and I'm still playing against platinums? It doesn't make a whole lot of sense. How many games do I have to lose before it starts to drop me down a considerable amount?

I am now 2-13 and I just lost to a #20 platinum. My MMR couldn't have been that high.

It seems like I'll lose a bunch of games, win 1, and then go right back to where I was, then win another one easily, and go right back to where I was. It pulls me down slightly, then shoots me right back up.

I'm trying to not getting frustrated, but ffs, I've lost 13 games out of my last 15!! None of those games I lost were even close. And both of those games I won weren't even close. I don't get it.

EDIT: I'm not saying that Platinum and MMR are related, but I'm just saying that there is some form of skill level there. Maybe I'm starting to descend, but it just hasn't picked up speed yet?

The confidence factor for your MMR is probably pretty high if you've played a lot of games so it is going to take a lot more than 13-2 for it to change. That could just be a bad streak of games and any win is going to mean more to it. If you want to play against gold insta quit games until you start getting matched against gold players and then insta quit a few more.

I've thought about instaquitting, but then I don't really learn as I go. I see so many different playstyles as Zerg than I did as Protoss. Meaning, people play completely differently. I know why, it's just weird to see when I'm so used to playing as Protoss.

I have to get more aggressive with my army and pressure a lot more. I sit back too much and try to build up a mass army.

My biggest problem is remembering to make drones. I build a few buildings, get a gas, and I'm down 5 drones which hurts my economy. Make a few spine crawlers, maybe a spore crawler and there is 3 more down. It's so easy to get supply blocked too.

2-21 as Zerg. I'm kind of getting bored of doing this just because I know I'm going to lose every game. I have to be headed to bronze. It's just a matter of time before I get there. I started telling people Merry Christmas and then quitting.

I decided to take a detour and play as Protoss. Was a PvZ on Shakuras. I was a little rusty, but it's pretty amazing to see the skill difference.

Lack of micro, lack of map awareness, etc.

I put a proxy pylon on the corner of the guy's third bc I did some early pressure and then later in the game he put up his 3rd and never even saw my pylon eventhough the creep was touching it. I then warped in some zealots and wiped out his queen and mineral line.

It probably puts a bump into my journey downwards, but it was a fun game. I wish more were like that.

Oh yeah, I'm now playing Silver level players.

I hate that I can not play this game. My computer instantly begins to slow down at 12 supply of any game I am in. If the game goes any longer than 3 minutes my computer shoots down to 3 frames per second and if I build any units, 1 or even 0 frames per second.

Its infuriating that I haven't been able to truly play this game in a few months and as of tonight its just impossible.

blizzard support didn't help? is it just a slow comp?

It's pretty funny how I'm playing as Zerg, tanking my MMR, and then people beat me and they try rubbing it in my face. It's like, you wouldn't even be playing me if I wasn't doing what I'm doing.

I just played a ZvP against "CombatEX." It's pretty sad when people make their name the same as someone else.

When the game started I said, "EZ" and he said "STFU scrub" like he was really CombatEX. haha

He said he was in silver and then I said, Yeah I'm a platinum protoss and he said "no i'm diamond on my main acct." yeah, ok bro. be bad.

But anyways, now that I've been doing this I'm kind of wanting to go back to Protoss and just work my way back up. haha I know I don't know how to play Zerg, but I'm finding it kind of boring. Maybe I'll try Terran.

he's very unique but i don't think he's like top tier at all and there are quite a few protoss' who are better than him that stream (im thinking huk, sage, jyp, killer maybe idk, alive maybe idk)

I've watched Sage stream a lot lately, he isn't all hes cracked up to be imo. I agree with Huk and JYP though. Some games though Sase just blows me away with how he can win in spots where you should never win.

yeah watching his stream now he seems to be a really aggro cannon rusher which leads me to believe he's probably not all that great as far as creative builds/end game... i'd only seen him play once. his mechanics are sick
