I highly doubt that the BW-Pros would just take over the SC2-Scene. Ofc some of them would do pretty good(maybe even considered to be the best), because they obviously got the talent for gaming(Imo Moon will be soon back in SC2 when he can fully concentrate on SC2). Someone like MVP will not just vanish and will prolly be a long time on top.

As for foreigners SC2 is getting more and more popular, the prizepools and sponsoringmoney gets more, thus more people will consider programing. I can see a Foreigner on top within 1 year.

Stephano showed lately that talent plays a huge role if you can believe him that he only plays 3 hours a day. Now just imagine if he would train 8h+ like Koreans, then we would have an insane sc2beast.

I would love to see Flash's APM as Terran in SC2. MMA drops? lololololol Flash would put that **** to shame.

A terran just had the audacity to tell me that my zerg was OP. He then lifted off his buildings and flew them into the corner and told me he was intentionally wasting my time. Being that I am the king of wasting time I proceed to make a hatchery at every mineral patch and started mining from them. Eventually he got bored, landed his buildings, and starting killing them off himself.

havent had a late night tilt off my MMR session in months

i just played an epic 50 minute ZvT on shakuras. it was basically Mvp vs Nestea except i somehow managed to win with queens transfusing my ultras.

what is stopping blizzard from making broodwar, but with sc2 graphics/mechanics? ie broodwar but a flashy 2011 version.

It isn't really the units, maps, rocks etc etc that make SC2 so different/easier.

It is the different mechanics such as rallying scvs to minerals, no max units on hotkeys, being able to queue up move/attack commands, etc etc. And the vast, vast majority of people definitely do not want to go back to how it was in BW (mechanic wise). After the first month or two of the game being out Blizzard tried to make it so that zergs had to press each hotkey down each time they wanted to spawn a unit and people freaked out and forced Blizzard to keep it so that you could just mash down a hotkey to build units.

I think the mechanics are definitely easier but I disagree that the ceiling is lower. What is to keep a player like Bisu from just crushing everyone by abusing the new mechanics in SC2 with his ridiculous APM? It is still way too early in the game to say silly things like the overall skill ceiling is so much lower than SC1 when we haven't seen the A team from BW play SC2 at a high level yet

Almost lost my Season 3 division in embarrassing fashion. Had over 150 point lead going into last day and then lost 11 of 12 matches. Quit with my 20 point lead intact and took it down.

nevermind just got promoted again to master lmao wtf...took like 4 games.
