ill post the 2 replays if anyone wants to see them, but it's just absolutely pathetic that ive spent over 2 hours of my life in the last 2 days playing really well in zvps just to lose them to some absurd all-in in the end.
and it's a general question really, not a strategic question. why cant i close? am i ****ing ******ed? what is the deal? i find myself with a massive BL/corruptor army and then all my bases die because it's a slow ****ing army and 6 blink stalkers and 8 zealots run around killing everything. is BL/corruptor just not viable on tal'darim altar?
and ive started making 5 spines + 2 spores standard on every base on tal'darim altar.... and i still lose my expos to DTs. they make 6-12 at a time. what defense is there to that? im clueless and want to veto the map, but i feel like vetoing tal'darim altar as a zerg is probably pretty dumb. but i guess im so ****ing bad at this game that i have to.
edit lol according to SC2 gears, my winrate on tal'darim altar is 37%... the lowest of any other map... lower than even typhon peaks, abyssal caverns and backwater gulch. guess i should just do myself a favor and veto it.
-Stop making spores and start making overseers at each base. If someone suicides 6-12 dts to kill a 300 mineral hatch, take that trade any day. You should have 10 hatches by this point in the game. So many zergs lose late game when they have 2500 minerals, 75 drones and 5 base.....on Tal you should have 10 base. Right when you are maxed with a good econ, expo to every base on the map.
-Not sure why you have 12 broods, 11 corr, 22 roach and 0 infestors. If you have even 2 infestors you win. Fungal eats up voids and when you mix in corr its not even funny.
-when you're on hive tech and you have your BL/corruptor/INFESTOR maxed army, start pumping drones and making a ****ton of spines. 8 zeals and 8 stalkers dont do **** to 20 spines.....you cant use a BL army on tal without having a ton of spines...ive seen morrow use 40 before, obviously excessive but you get the point make it so you cant lose.
