i'm sure they will make it so scourge aren't really viable vs collossus.

but if they do come back, having them patrol for drops will be awesome.

but i'm sure they will be painfully slow or particularly useless like a few other zerg units....

Would definitely own up drop ship play a lot in TvZ. You can just put 2 scourge on patrol when you move out and you never have to worry about missing 8 marines killing off 30 drones again.

so they're trying to make defending drops the easiest thing in the world? seems stupid. with good OL placement and mutas drops are pretty garbage if you have good awareness of the minimap. it just seems like something to make the game easier for people who don't play well.

also i have no idea how many you would need to make to kill a dropship. if you need to morph them from banelings that could get pretty expensive.

You should be able to get your minimap on a whole screen. I got 2 screens anyway and one for the minimap would rock, I just don`t see things there :/

In BW there were mutas, OLs, and you still needed scourge. Your mutas can only be in one place at one time and as it moves into late game its super hard to stop 2 and 3 drops at once.

supreme commander w/ 2 monitors let you do this, but the way supcom worked i just found myself playing using nothing but the minimap most of the time.

they weren't faster than mutas tho were they? also is it splash damage like banelings too? or do the similarities end at thee suicidal part?

They don't do AOE. The scourge damage didn't register right away though, so you'd have to micro so that you wouldn't waste like 5 scourge on 1 unit.

I think mutas were marginally faster than scourge, but their speeds were pretty comparable or possibly even exactly the same.

it's a phoenix type build w/ mass ling/bling except he pusehs out upgrades really fast then goes for ultra off 3 base. i like it but i had all my scouting denied that last game til it was too late plus it was on that ******ed map i forgot to veto.

indeed, in brood war you couldn't, although it's moot as by the time terran was dropping they'd have vessels making mutalisks worthless
