rofl...was just reading about the change to apm in the patch notes. Unfortunately I'm at school on my laptop, so I don't have any recent replays of myself to watch. I went and grabbed the 1base speedbane rep I put up a few days ago and watched...Yeah I just won a master league game with 40 apm. Brag, beat and variance all in the same sentence.

the new apm change is pretty awful imo. not that it's a big deal, but if you are going to have the stat, don't have it be useless. either that or just make it the way it was before and dont count the first 5 mins of apm.

So I got home and decided to check a more recent rep. Picked a nice 20 minute macro game. ZvT, massive creep spread, defending multiple drops across 5 bases. Over 100 drones created. APM clocked in at a blistering

i dont understand how you are able to manage such a large economy and army without hotkeys. i mean im pretty bad with using hotkeys on my units... but queens?

Well my avg APM is like 70 but I don`t spam and in fights I`m 200-250+

Wow they finally added people's ***** league to the score summary screen? That's almost enough to get me to play this game again (carrier buff one time...)

Tried the funday monday a couple times in random custom games...first one I got a bronze player and obv rolled. Second game I got a diamond protoss on Xel'Naga...figured it would be pretty challenging/impossible. The funday goal is to triple expand before doing anything else. Now day9 left it pretty vague as to what that meant. I took it to mean get 4 bases before starting your pool. I took villain's third, then my nat, then villain's 4th before laying my pool. Luckily I was able to snipe off his probe. Eventually he figured out I had expo'd to his third and fourth and went to kill them-->leaving his main/nat wide open. HAR HAR HAR. 14 hatch/16 hatch/18 hatch/20 pool pretty good opener.

this zvt is very frustrating to watch. are both those players really masters? i guess i could see it for the zerg despite that he has turned down 8 free banshees like 3x times now but the T is bad yo.

don't forget the nerves kick in for college games!

nerves dont make you go mass banshee blue flame with 1 thor after zerg is on lair tech :-p
