quality of TL definitely soured since sc2 got added... TL was actually enjoyable circa 2003

Just played a game with DTs/HTs/Blinkstalkers/Collosi. I did feedback his Overseers a lot forcing him to retreat every time(Use changelings noob!). I had both side expansions on shakuars so he was on 4 base which nearly were mined out.

I totally had the game but screwed up my macro lol. It`s a pretty gas-intensive strategy, made me secure all expansions with like 10+ canons, which made it near impossible to attack my expansions(Had HTs there too so I could easily storm if he comes up the ramp).

Blizzard should a system where you could chose the matchup you want to play. Not only would it make preparation against a race better(You could use the ladder to train specific builds without having only a 33% chance to hit the race you want).
It also would be for recreational players better.

1 out 3 people complains everyday when I ladder that he is sick of PvP. To be honest sometimes I feel the same and don`t play because I don`t want to play PvP.

there are ways to get out of Ks, obviously, but i dont know any common law or oft accepted statutory rule about a cold feet time window

i cant read the TL thread about complexity/stephano. watching people on TL express opinions on legal matters absolutely sickens and tilts the **** out of me.

and it's not because they don't understand it. that's fine. if they open up with questions or speculation about legal issues, no problem there. it's very complicated stuff and difficult to understand.

but they speak with such ****ing sheer arrogance and authority when they couldn't be more wrong. and they get SO ****ing defensive if anyone ever calls them out on it and just stick to their guns like they have a damn J.D. w/ an LLM in douchebaggery. like they are honestly just purely making things up. there is no research or information available that could possibly lead them to believe their view is accurate. they literally just make things up and then present it with 100% confidence that it's correct.

Beat: Played like 10 ladder games in the few weeks instead of the 120 hours I hoped/planned for.
Variance: Played quite some custom games and other games I had to catch up on (DXHR, Supreme commander 2, LoL, etc.).
Brag: 70+% winrate in custom games with random teammates.

I've been doing very poorly vs Z lately. But I finally have 2 games to brag about.

First game I hold an 8 pool close position shattered losing only 1 probe off a 13 gate.

Second game on TD I go double sg and hold off two baneling all ins. The first being 15 banelings and the second being 23 more banelings. My counter attack after then completely kills him.

Feels good to win a couple. I think if I can start winning PvP at better than 35% I can get to masters pretty soon.

nice. i won vs. a 7 pool while trying to FFE on shakuras yesterday. i planted two cannons in my mineral line because i saw some roaches streaming across the map (barely got the second one down). felt good to hold that. (i went into stargate and killed him once i fended him off).

problem is sc2 is a video game mainly played by prepubescent teens, whereas that demographic is less common on 2p2

Artosis just announced on SotG that he brought Major to Korea and he's joining TSL. Over/under 4 months before we see a thread on TL entitled "Major leaves TSL".

This. This is already Major's 3rd team in SC2 in less than a year (since he didn't switch over until a few months after release), and he had the same reputation for clan-hopping in BW from what I've heard.

That being said, I would take the over because it is Major's dream to be in Korea, so I can see him shaping up pretty damn quick because Korean teams are not likely to tolerate the kind of **** he's been pulling on foreign teams.

I just got marine/scv all-in'd and it just felt noticeably late. Those 5 seconds seriously made such a huge difference. My spine finished and I got an extra 4-6 lings out. He also didn't have as many marines as I'm used to (altho he was perhaps quite bad as he went nuts post game screaming at me for map hacking and telling me to kiss my account goodbye... clearly a ******). Pretty nice overall tho.
