Don't worry, we hate the gators much more. If there is even a shred of video or coverage of them between halves/quarters at home games, the stadium erupts into a loud "**** the gators!" chant. I'm planning on going to gainesville this year if the game shapes up to be worthwhile. Right now, I like our defensive fundamentals though we've only played scrubs (Our front 4 are beastly), and I think we've held back on offense to avoid giving away too much info to OU. I hope EJ manuel gets back to how he did in the gator/ChickfilA bowls, he was amazing in those games.

He here and there plays a protoss game for fun to not play zerg all the time. Obvious subpar on his 2nd race but sometimes still funny to watch, especially when his warp prism play (which he uses more than most protoss save for white-ra) goes horribly wrong (or awesomely well) and makes him yell stuff.

My win rate over the past few days has sky rocketed now that I've started playing a lot more aggressively. I think sitting back and doing the defend/drone/defend/drone etc isn't really as effective as P and T have gotten much better at macro'ing on these big maps.

I used to think this, but once you hit the ceiling of players who can handle the aggression, you start to lose every game if you don't just use it in some meta game situations and can't disguise your play well as eco-based play. Droning hard is still the key to winning games as Zerg over teh long run.

its easier to just be aggressive and know 1 build instead of trying to play passively and defending against any number of builds. easier doesn't mean better tho.

He went CC first I think, should have answered with a super fast nexus but nahhhhh 4 Gate. He has like 1mirrion bunkers and I`m behind but well np I get 200/200 and crush his first army but the macro of this guy was out of control(I Lost quite a bit in the fight).
He somehow made it to 20 ghosts and lol emp emp emp emp emp emp emp emp emp emp emp snipe snipe snipe snipe snipe snipe snipe snipe


Other game vs Zerg:

Played the same guy the game before on the same map same positon, went sentryexpand and he hit a nice timeing and crushed me when his first infestors were out(Fungaled collosi get sniped pretty fast if you cant move them -.-). Anyway did go sentryexpand the second game too, he went for a roachrush, I moved down the ramp when the roaches arrive and he gets the sentrys ... one sec later and easy win. Basically I don`t know what this guy was thinking going a roachrush, don`t know any build it would`ve be good against.

I can totally believe that. I think the dude I beat was a guy that was about to drop down to diamond. We'll see how I do as I start actually playing low masters. At this point I just wanna get that star for self gratification.

Did the drone trick not work because of the way you placed the pylons or did he just suck at it? Seems like something that a zerg player should know how to do if he plans on hatch firsting.

No clue, I can stack workers but I can't do that trick. Thankfully I don't have to.

you have to know how to do the trick on each map. you also need vision of the mineral patch you are going to do it on (and any good zerg should have this especially if hatch firsting). some spawn locations call for you to hit diff minerals. ive done it with good success.

Just got my much wanted reclassification into platinum, since I didn't play S2 but did well (though didn't play frequently) in S1 with mainly MMM lol. I have been doing horrible against zerg, but that's mainly because I do nonstandard things like use banshees in my army or try bio w/ mech, leading to banelings eliminating my marines then lings taking out the rest (I had an ok game before my reclassifcation with pure mech, though I still lost because the douche just base raced me with his mass muta once he saw I had ~8 thors).

just played vs the guy who's ranked 10th in grandmasters and i had a really good chance to win the game. thors are pretty good though.

I really have no idea why more terrans don't bring their scvs when they do some kind of cheesy play or all in. I lose so often to the same all ins that have scvs vs holding the ones that don't.
