Thats a tough spot to find the observer in that pic, normally they're easier to find. Im protoss so I can spot my own observers fine.

is it moving? no i dont. also zoom in and out with your mouse wheel OR left and right (ins/del) keys to see an observer that is standing still.

I have a much higher success spotting them moving, but I could see the obs pretty well after a careful look. Freaking out about them and taking a look around your production/army is a waste of time though. It's just like watching the minimap, you don't mind when things are still, but your attention is drawn to things that are changing. The same goes for seeing a cloaked unit. You are drawn to changes.

The thing I loved about that game 1 (and bw in general, though I really don't understand the game like I do SC2) is how 'small' the armies are. That was like a 35 minute game and I don't think either side ever reached 200/200. Which is awesome.

The thing is, bw, while a great, great game is like lol old at this point. Watching 2 of the top 20 players in the world who have idle probes and drones all over the place is so tilting after watching SC2. It's a more 'pure' game because the interface does so much less for the gamer, but it's frustrating from an SC2 perspective where having that many idle workers would be considered lol bad.

I've heard day9 and husky both mention that with settings on ultra observers are much easier to spot.
