im 17-29...

im actually people who have a lower ranking/MMR than the people i had a 65% winrate against for like 100 games.

what exactly happened? can anyone explain how i suddenly just randomly became bad? i really am baffled at what is wrong with my play. it's not that my MMR jumped... it's actually lower and im getting ****ing raped.

im crushing anyone below 600-650 but against ~800ish guys i just get straight ****ing housed every game.

altho it could be that im really, really bad on shattered vs T and P. it's just hands down my worst map. it's really ****ing hard to deal with.

6 of my last 12 games? shattered temple.

any of them vs Z? nope

any of them close position?

oh **** yes, 3 of them.

8 of my last 14 games are on shattered temple vs T or P with 3 close positions. cool. i hope i keep pulling this map all night seeing as it's my worst (altho ill except typhon but typhon is a lot easier to just all-in on).

close positions ST vs terran is pretty much unwinnable. you have to roach/ling/baneling all-in and hope they're stupid. vs toss i think you could do a 2 bare roach/hydra push and it would be really hard for them to hold unless they tech straight to colossus which almost no one does anymore.

For example one of the best finals yet Naniwa vs Thorzain TSL3. I would be VERY VERY surprised if they didn't split those prices.. they are IRL friends and its huge money for them FFS!

TL is like NVG these days, you have to expect ******ation. Furthermore they have the NVG-level stupidity plus that whole Savior match-fixing scandal puts something like dealmaking under a more intense microscope (even when they aren't anything close to similar)

I love losing games vs 7 pools where I take no probe damage at all just because my cannon is half a unit away from protecting my gateway.

7 pool should be like 4 gate. Actually it should be less recoverable. If I 4 gate a zerg and lose everything and do no damage I literally can't win the game.

They should just make it so you need to build your first overlord before pool. They got did it for the other 2 races and I don't really see a point on why zerg is an exception. Would make team games a lot less stupid facing double or triple zerg teams and Im sure a lot of zergs wouldn't mind it for the sake of zvz.

i hate the ovie before pool and i hate supply before rax.

if you are good, you should be able to defend cheese. The 1 rax FE 1 gate FE and hatch first should not be standard, they should be punishable.

They are punishable. Terrans are punishing 1g FE's with a lot of various all ins once scouted. Hatch first builds can be punished by 2 rax pressure variations or zlot stalker early pressures. The difference with what you want though is 6-7 pools and early rax proxies are just blind cheeses that don't punish based on you scouting econ greedy builds, rather you just go with it and pray your opponent doesn't scout it or he opens super greedy.

I used to just write off 7 pools as 33% loss right away on TD. It's really dumb that the outcome is determined by whether or not I scout it last. Now I send out 2 scouting probes, but I lost way too many games just cause I scouted last.
