haypro playing a qualifier and knocking out two decent players, then giving a walkover to sjow because he can't actually play the target tournament as it's the same weekend is a ****ing huge douche move
If there's anything I can say about the KR players (the actual ones with KR lettering), they macro like beasts, they are really good at denying scouting to the point where if you scout a T last, gl and they are mannered as can be.
I always get a gg at the start and finish. I haven't been bmed or had anyone write anything that could be bm. I actually kinda like it lol. I don't get mad when I lose.
I've played 2 masters guys and lost both games. First I accidentally let lings in my base when forge fast expanding and he killed like 4 probes, it was ridiculous. Second game was marine all in that I couldn't scout cause I scouted last.
also ive looked at all my losses from this week... it's not that ive forgotten how to play... my mechanics are just "relaxed" and sloppy as hell. missing injects, lots of bad micro, mis-rallying overlords, missing injects, misclicking units away, letting larva sit too long, missing injects.
did i mention missing injects?
a lot of my losses are games wehre i just BARELY don't have enough to hold and finish off the enemy and then i look and... 1500/500 in the bank and no way to spend it. either supply blocked because 12 overlords just died or all my queens are sitting on their fat lazy asses with 120 energy.
meh i guess this is what it'll be like from here on out. i do stuff all day that is really mentally taxing and then i take this "let me just relax and have fun" approach to sc2 games letting my mind go a bit and im gunna get crushed by good master's players. i should be doing team games to "relax" and then play on the weekends if i wanna be try hard on ladder.
i also am trying to do work for an IRL firm, work for my clinic at school, work on my sc2 project and then play sc2 every day. it's a bit much. not only is my mind just... tired, but im also not sleeping at night. im staying up late to try and do all these things and then i cant sleep cause my mind is just ****ing RACING when i lie down to finally try to get some rest.
no more time for good sc2 play i guess :-(.
that said ill just go ladder now cause the players ive started to face are all like 500-600 masters right now and ive been doing fine even with my bad mechanics lol.
there's no point in having that many workers as zerg on 3 bases.
there's nothing wrong with 80 workers on 3 bases... and then you take a 4th once you have the creep/units to deal with the stargates (or you go win).
sure returns are diminished after 22, but 26-28 drones per base is still pretty good and adds more than 22 per base. and you can also saturate your gasses at your 4th much quicker. plus some of the drones you build get turned into buildings and stuff, which is important consider spores to fend off SG harass.
