Starcraft 2 (GAME IS NOW FREE!) - Page 262 - Video Games

Would that be more about adding tour stops or more competitions between tour stops?

One of our plans is to build something which will support both. Right now we have 18 days a year where we have meaningful competition. We have the six pro circuit stops. Next year we’re looking at between 44 to 50 weeks of meaningful competition play happening in a combination of these tour stops, but also a central location for league activity to take place.

One thing is for sure, this is all thanks to SC2 (and Sundance his efforts and investments ofcourse, guy's a boss)

and gz SPARTAN, I turn 21 in a month ^^!

oh and im not allowed to switch to protoss, so you dont have to worry about me angleshooting you with that

it really depends how much time you have to spend on improving. also season lengths haven't really been set in stone yet have they? hard to set an accurate line w/o more info (for example i'm assuming you are allowed to get as much coaching as you want).

if you actually put forward a concerted effort i would imagine the odds should be much less than 100:1.

When the zerg and toss installments of Starcraft II come out will they include a new (or updated) MP or are they just campaign missions geared towards those races?

You guys gotta figure in the fact that getting into GM is a lot harder after the top 200 has been decided since you only get thrown out of GM if you get over 130 or 180 bonus pool or what it is.

i think what the article means is that by adding 1 or tops 2 units in each race for the MP component, its unlikely to bring in a huge influx of players who are completely new to sc2, only the ones who have been playing WoL until now

Ah, okay. That makes sense.

I'm sure some will complain that they could have just added a patch or expansion for way cheaper than a new game, but personally I get so much entertainment value out of the few games I do buy that I'm totally cool with it.
