I really need to start playing more. Been sucked into Diablo 2 again, played like 2-3 games in 2-3 weeks. And wow, it felt so weird playing.

ive played several terrans who have gone 2 base turtle into BC on me. prob works well against zergs who dont scout. i usually thank them for researching yamato cannon just before they complain about infestors being imbalanced and GG.

Yeah it seems as though Terran needs tanks or ghosts in order not to be rofl'd by infestors.

Also I think infestor unit size should be reduced so zerg can further appreciate EMoP (shame it doesn't knock half the health off of all your units).

Changing races to Terran sounded appealing until I realized I'd rather play PvP than deal with TvT tank lines. PvP really isn't bad at all. If only expanding wasn't a death wish.

Really just need to work on my PvT.

TvT is the best and most varied mirror match up, but it's also the hardest to master imo.

Tonight was honestly my worst night of SC I've ever played. And that includes my brood war days. I don't think I've ever been frustrated before...to the point that I just couldn't handle one more game without considering raging, and I basically never rage.

Raging is half the game. Seriously though, just brush it off and get back at it with a clear mind. No big deal. And I mean I know it's easy to say that, but it helps me to hear it from someone else when I struggle.

For my brag of the day I'm at 1595 points which is good for 1173 rank in masters. Next season I hope I can get in the top 1000 of masters.

Yeah, TvT still remains almost as painfully boring to watch as ZvZ.

pausing at the end of your games and thinking for a minute before you exit helps to prevent the rage from spreading... also it always helps me to say glhf at the beginning of the game and simultaneously clear my mind... also listening to rap while playing is a recipe for auto tilting

as in poker i only rage at very specific things and they both have to do with people i'm playing against being commonly stupid. in poker it was when someone exhibited a betsizing tell and ended up winning the hand with what i supposed they had... i played SNGs so it was often when people would 3x with a very short stack in the small blind and have AA or when i cbet into a 3bet pot and get minraised by villain who left t20 chips behind and showed a set, or whatever. in sc2 it's when i realize i'm playing against some idiot who has horrible manners and does common BM type things which are obviously just him being really bad at BMing and not a level such as preemptive GGs out of nowhere or saying "n00b gtfo" or whatever idiots often say. unfortunately in both poker and sc2 these things happen very often.

edit-i just went back and read a thread i made in the psych forum about my rage problem in poker and there was a guy who made a good post which basically states that everything i wrote above is about protecting my ego more than anything and if i could control my ego i could control my rage. he dropped a book recommendation as well which i'm gonna follow up on. link

actually now that I think about it, wouldn't dropping auto turrets in tank lines be pretty sweet? (I'm not a terran player)
