btw the hatch cancel roach all-in is so good vs forge FEing brotosses. y'all are some greedy mother****ers cutting cannons.

also watching reps against master tosses made me realize how ****ing greedy they can be there too. cutting sentries/getting late gas/expanding with like nothing/making 1 cannon.

no wonder why i get rolled in macro games.

was watching a time practice game the other day and all the observers were remarking at how they cant believe how often he gets away with 1 gate expo (time, thoughts?). minigun said the same thing on destiny's stream the other day too that he just 1 gate expos now (including XNC).

I don't think I've lost a game when I've actually noticed a protoss trying to 1 gate expo. Even flooding slow lings is enough to kill anyone at my level if they try to do it. It requires pretty much perfect force fields to hold it against mass speedlings.

if he has enough +3 phoenix to kill overseers + deeteez he should either a) be already dead, b) be up so far ahead on you it doesnt matter that he made DTs/phoenix, c) about to die

Ya 1 gate expo PvZ feels so risky. If that low ground pylons goes down, its supply-block ville and basically gg.

1 Gate expo is fine if Z goes hatch first or pool hatch, since their ling speed isn't complete until 6:15-7:00, so you have warp gates in time, and will have cannons by the time roaches are there.

I don't think 1 gate FE is safe against 14/14, though.

how many cannons do you make if you 1 gate expo against say a 14 pool, 16 hatch, 21 gas?

on XNC or ST for ex

I pretty much always make 2 cannons unless I have a good reason not to. I haven't found a better way to defend against roach/ling aggression without cutting probes.

Plus, I like to play aggressively around 8-12 minutes until infestors are out, and having more cannons makes it easier to deal with ling counterattacks.

How does the day go by, like at least 11+ hours and no BBV. I was just at a wedding, tearing it up, drunk as **** - KARRRAK - and nobody has anything to do with BBV. WTF!!! Did Blizzard balance the game over night. Really. I'm so drunk. I got a drive home from people I don't even know, but at least I didn't drive home.

does ret stream much nowadays? i watched him all the time when he was playing BW in korea but haven't seen him in the tl list in a while, it's mostly haypro and huk
