My last 3 jobs over the past 2 months, cook, valet, and warehouse bull****, were the 3 worst jobs on planet earth. I say 'were' because I quit them all. I then found a sushi restaurant where my friend Jimmy works who is hiring, applied, interviewed, she said she'd call me back, then they call back and it's this asian guy and i can't understand a ****ing word he's saying and he proceeds to ask me when I can come in tomorrow then tell me he doesn't think my working as a waiter for 2 years (really 1) in a 'gourmet' pizza restaurant should qualify as "fine dining experience" then a bunch of other **** which I just couldn't understand except for Sorry and Thank You etc etc so I call him back no answer, sent a text, **** **** **** never thought this would happen thought there was a 90% chance I'd never need to work again a few months ago

New plan is just blatantly lie for all 3 of my prior jobs on applications which I think is actually going to be really effective because all these idiots keep saying is they need experience when in reality they just need 1 interview to tell if you're going to be decent, ****ing idiots.

I can spin a pen around my fingers really well I was thinking about using this as cred in my next interview or possibly being in diamond league

I don't know anything about your working or personal situations but it seems like a pretty bad idea to quit 2 jobs without having another one lined up. Everyone deals with **** everyday, it's how you deal with it that makes you stronger.

it's not even close those were the worst jobs ever and my parents will bail me out for the time being which is pretty shameful of me to do but i'm going to do it rather than work in physically/mentally deteriorating environments... and its difficult with my past, throwing money around, ballin... blackjack... also it's a misconception that you can leapfrog from one job to another using the previous job as a reference for the job you're prospecting to get (at least in the world of tier-1 jobs)... nobody checks references they just are following guidelines to not hire people without experience or college degrees ITS ALL BULL**** MAN THE REAL WORLD MAN

Are you trolling me or is this serious? If serious it sounds like you have some type of ego problem. Yes, it used to be insanely easy to sit at a computer and make 5x what your friends were making on a daily basis. Yes, they were suckers for working jobs full time while we worked 20hrs a month. Now it's time to suck up your ego and get your hands dirty. Free riding off your parents is pathetic (assuming you are >21). There are tons of people out there working full time jobs, going to school on loans, and not accepting a dime from their parents. What makes you more special that you shouldn't have to do this? If you can't shake your "ballin" past than you should get some help to do so, because living in the past like that will be extremely detrimental to you getting better in the future. Every job you work from now on will be ****ty, you will never have the same freedom. You will have bosses who are ass clowns and you will not agree with them or get along with them. This doesn't give you the right to suck on the tit still. Be a grown man and take grown man responsibility. I'm in a similar situation where I was able to do whatever the **** I wanted for the last 4-5 years and now have to get a real job etc etc... So don't think I'm just hounding on you to be a dick, a lot of what I said is stuff I had to figure out myself too. GLHF you can do it.

I'm 28yo and live with my parents. I resigned my last job because it was sucking the life out of me. Now I'm considering a big move where I'll be forced to support myself. I've fallen into a rut because I don't want to stay where I'm at. There aren't any jobs where I'm at, but I'm worried about being able to find a job somewhere else. I have a large savings account, but I hate the thought of having to use it. I guess that's why I have it though.

Anyways, I can relate to skater for the most part.

I think it's not that pathetic to lean on my parents until I can find some job that's not physically tearing my body down, but idk i've been playing lots of starcraft lately and not really honing any skills besides learning spanish a few hours/day so i'm just doing horrible on that front in general and so it is pathetic... you have a good point that it is pathetic sounding/aggrivating as hell to hear about all my nonsense. thanks for warning me! thinking about it now, i won't be expressing how upset i am to be caught in this situation to anyone around me at all anymore since i am indeed pretty pathetic.

orange they were all really bad and i could go into detail but i'm more mature now. my definition of backbreaking labor is pretty broad though

gospy i've thought about that one a lot and would definitely do it... it's like a buddhist/zen job which wouldn't be bad at all... if i could listen to headphones while doing it
