I'm working more this summer than I anticipated, and have little time for sc2. I'd rather spend it having fun (zvp/zvt) than burning time on a matchup I don't like. The only impact is on my ladder points and league, which I really don't give a **** about. I know how good/bad I am, I don't need a score to tell me.
i'm probably 80% that i'll be there with my brother. also, if any of you are in LA and want to meet up/grind some sc2 together (let me play at your place lol, i'm having withdrawls), let me know. i'm in LA for the next few days and i'll be in san fran in a few weeks.
Man, you must really want to play. Aren't you on vacation lol?
I keep trying a mass gateway, charge + fast storm strategy against MMM terran and it seems like I always end up dying to one last handful of half-health marines and marauders. My micro probably just sucks.
I'm kind of looking forward to the end of the season just for stat purposes. I'm kind of a stat geek. I hadn't opened up sc2gears in a while, so I figured I'd check out my season stats up to this point.
S2: 115-103, 1460 points (Currently rank #25)
(I had to approximate a bit because of dropped games)
S1: 160-118, 1783 points
Avg APM: 120
Avg game length: 11:11
Best map (>10 games played): Metalopolis - 28-12 (.700)
Worst map (>10 games played): Xel Naga Caverns - 16-20 (.444)
I was at one point like 12 games below .500 in PvZ, so it is surprising that I caught up. I attribute it entirely to using blink.
Still have about 40 bonus pool points to grind out plus whatever I play after that. I wonder if there's enough traffic to make a season 2 stats thread when it's done.
