Went 11-9, not as great as I'd hoped. Up to 1st in my plat league (lol) but playing diamonds. I've never ground out a bunch of games in a day before. It's nice to not be afraid to ladder 1s anymore.

annoying pvt just now. on scrap, see he's on one base as my deathball has finished, move in and crush his main, taking the gold at the same time, but wait why am i being shot at by invisible stuff... ah, you took the island and made seven starports there, and i somehow left one scv alive in his main to unsupply block him. fortunately he never scouts the gold where i'm massing carriers, but that took a lot longer than needed

yeah, i might put typhon in instead, that ramp is annoying vZ as well

come to think of it, really should have made a mothership as well, vikings can't shoot what they can't see, banshees can't shoot carriers anyway

I thought it was pretty obvious that the P was gonna get smashed. The time he spent making those 3-4 vrs seems like it gets countered so easily, quickly, & cheaply by Z. Z can just blindly add extra queens, make hydras, & add a spore or 2 and be in pretty good shape vs 1base Toss in that spot, since Colo tech takes forever.

Stunna I meant when I was watching him actually play the game. I figured the P was macroing decently. When Karak showed up with all those roaches and lost them to the void rays I figured the toss would make more than like 1 more unit the rest of the game.

It just seems that nydus far away into losing your whole army probably isn't the best response to a cannon contain lol.

roaches are very cost efficient units as you can see in that video

Question for zergs: do you think cannon rushing is an illegitimate strategy?

And toss: do you think it's more +EV to cannon rush a hatch first zerg by walling in behind his mineral line or walling his ramp (or something else)? Does it ever make sense to get more than 2 cannons/how heavily do you commit to trying to prevent zerg from pushing through your wall?

ramp but it's dumb it should be a normal type rush (This is me bitching about imba and wanting MLG maps)

and you really dont need more than 2 cannons

and it's not illegitimate. it's been around since BW. toss need to punish a hatch first somehow or they fall behind.

it's the super douchey cannon rushes that piss me off, but i rarely lose to them as they are a dumb thing to do.
