The main thing that tips people off to those kind of attitudes toward you is that you don't ever change gears. I've never been around reasonable Karak, hence, I had no clue it existed.

yea, i sort of realized this recently when a lot of people were taken aback at my work on the legislation issue and the blog and news sites i worked on. i have a fairly good feeling, both irl and on the internet, of when to be serious and when to have fun. it's just on a forum like this it's almost always fun.

my grammar and capitalization are usually pretty good internet tipoffs to what sort of posting mode im in... and i can flip it on and off like a switch. i sometimes wonder whether that's a good thing or not.

sixfour post rep's in the protoss thread if you haven't already. Just do a 3gate expo style with a ton of sentries and you should be able to beat most zergs up to masters really.

I'm in masters and have a pretty tough time beating a 3gate expo, as I think a lot of zergs do. :-\

i honestly dont understand why more toss dont just nexus first v. zerg. sure you'll get ****ed hard by the occasional cheese, but it's gotta be mega +EV over the long run esp in masters.

Because on small maps its super hard to hold and on big maps people are doing early pools all the time since FFE and 16 nex are so popular.

if zerg are going early pool, why not just build your nexus in your main then float it over when its done building?

Noob tip: Be sure to convert your nexus to whatever the toss version of an orbital command is before lifting off so it can be working up energy.

Ya my PvZ has been really hit or miss. Some days I crush, other days I cant win one. I've been leaning towards less Col and heavy immortal + blink into temps to deal with hydras lately. The temps will help massively against the heavy infestor play that has been so popular lately as well.

Zergs are getting a lot better at dealing with col I've found and most zergs are also going straight upgraded roach which is hard to deal with unless you are going heavy immortals.

Also lately game DTs are huge. Most zergs think one or two spines + a spore is enough to protect their expo's but if you warp in 4, snipe the spore, the expo is dead in no time.

I think this is probably just a familiarity thing. I don't mean this in a bad way, but I feel like I have a decent read on some things you like to do. If we played some more you'd figure me out pretty fast.

I think I remember Wraths making a lot of lings early against you Gospy, instead of just droning hard (vs 3g expo), which I normally see pwn do as a response to 3g expo.
