Was just watching Sheth play against ROOTSlush. Slush asked to pause the game and then after however long it was the game ended. Sheth was confused.

Back in the lobby Slush said he accidently hit surrender rather than resume. hahahaha

just got a new blackwidow keyboard and i have to admit its pretty sick. the layout is a little smaller so it'll take some time to get used to, but overall i'm really enjoying it ^_^

figure out new timings. not saying it isn't a nerf, as it obviously is to current strategies, but it is not as big as you are claiming to be.

the reason stim was nerfed according to blizz was to fix stim timing pushes, but in reality it affected defense a lot more than offense. the extra time it took to research made void + gateway rushes incredibly hard to defend on many maps without blindly overpreparing and getting behind one way or another.

i think we might see more stargate timings, since the zealot reduction time will popularize chrono'ing zealots and forcing terran to wall much more

Went 3-2 in PTR placement.

G1 was that TvT.
G2 ZvP, guy sent all of his probes to my mineral line so I attacked with my drones and he quit.
G3 TvR, 5 sec in he quit
G4 ZvT, I have no idea how to play Zerg and I lost pretty badly
G5 ZvP, I still have no idea how to play Zerg and lost even worse.

Got placed into Gold. hahaha

Time to go piss around some more. Maybe I'll go throw a ton of games and try to get demoted to Bronze.

It was taking me like 3-5 min to find a game yesterday... there's like no traffic on PTR. Why not just ladder for real?

I'm averaging around 1min per game. I think you said you were 9-0? Most people probably throw their games and have a low MMR on the PTR so you're probably searching through a very small pool of players who are actually playing for real.

I was just screwing around on the PTR because it doesn't matter. Points don't matter and I don't have to put any weight into caring about the results. I know I shouldn't care now, but I'm too competitive, blah blah blah. With the PTR I don't have any expectations.

Since getting into Gold I think I'm 0-4. 2 Zergs and 2 Terrans. 0 Protoss. Oh well.

I probably will go back to regular ladder, but I have a hard time grinding it out.

In the one game in particular on Shakuras tonight(PvZ) he took a 16 min third and went mass charge zealot with a few immortals/colossi. That and he appeared to have a pretty low apm, he was moving slowly. I dunno.

I looked you up in the name thread and figured out which one you were, cool stuff.

I just played a 2v2, PTvPT. My teammate and I expanded fast and often and easily got to 4 bases without being harassed whatsoever (this is the nicest feeling ever btw). Instead of pushing when I was maxed, I started killing my stalkers and replacing them with carriers to build an unstoppable colossus/void ray/carrier ball. And then once I had that insane deathball and my opponent had set up with his siege tanks in the center of the map, instead of attacking I used all the minerals I'd pooled to build a bunch of pylons and cannons at the front of the contain, which the enemy then attacked into and... died very fast.
