That's such a good idea. Instead of trying to make a comeback where you have like a 3% chance of winning, you can stop and save your energy for the game.

But you have to ask yourself, what about that 3%? Isn't it worth it for the every once in a while sick comeback?

elsewhere prob not just a waste of time. like i played a zvz before where i killed all the guys tech and main and all he had was his natural and like 8 spines. cause he had 8 spines i couldnt beat him with just lings so he forced us all to take the time for me to make a roach army 23894823482348238 times the size of his and go kill him. it's stupid.

also just played a 35 min zvt that i had in the bag but nearly lost anyways cause LOLOLOL 3/3 thors

basically broodlords are the bset way

unless you move command your broodlords into villain's rally point and they all die. which is what i did.

also i just made a lot of roaches over over and over. i remaxed 3 times to kill his last army. thankfully he really doesnt like putting his tanks in siege mode or kill tech in mains or i might have lost (should have lost).

he also seemed unaware that a) command centers can fly and b) roaches cant shoot up

thx. I usually see the brood transition too late (already has vikes), but it's mostly just curiosity. I can't survive a ZvT for long enough to get hive.

if he has vikings that's fine just use infestors.

either way he seemed like one of those Ts who only knew how to do 1 thing: turtle hard on 2/3 bases and make blue flame hellions and upgraded thors and attack... which is the T build that (honestly) takes the least skill.

i mean i had a 200 supply army of roaches that he saw, but he kept making blue flame hellions anyways. i didnt produce lings for the last 15-20 mins of the game or so, but he just kept on making blue flame hellions.

and he probably wins a lot of games, because even tho i scouted it, was ahead in macro and upgrades... i still nearly lost.

yo guys fyi pwns +1 ling build doesnt really work well without ling speed, esp if villain also goes mass ling (w/o +1)

he was also afk for the first 30 seconds of the game and still managed to go directly to my base and build a pylon ??? loool. i'd email it in but im pretty sure im wasting my time.

Personal preference I guess. I'd rather invest the time I would've spent losing the rest of the game into playing my next game, reviewing why I lost, etc.

You could also try and claw back, all the while getting back at micro, macro, crisis management etc.

ok i should stop 6 pooling every game now (altho in 2 zvzs i 10 pooled and killed hatcheries + spawning pools! still lost obv) before i tilt all of my MMR away in case i ever seriously want to try to get into masters again.

9-16 in my last 25 aint bad tho. it's above what i usually win.

but i think im just going to stick to trying to learn how to cast and make videos for the time being. ive really lost any desire to play, but i do enjoy making those vids and casts.

I always loose to mass thors . I tried with baneling +roach and mutas still lost.

I'm also a fan of the early GG. If you're in bronze, your opponent may suck and you can come back from some early setback (e.g., I had a guy 6 pool me and cripple my economy, but he didn't make enough drones and I ended up beating him with superior economy).

But if the opponent is decent at all (i.e., you're not in bronze anymore), you really have even less than a 3% chance of winning.

In team games, quitting early affects your teammates, so I won't normally gg too early. IOW, if you can force your opponents to finish you off, you allow your teammates to build up.

don't play Z, so don't know how reasonable it is to actually get to this point.
but if you could get 4-6 infestors, fungle the rines, parasite the thors. gg

other option would be just a ton of lings.

Yes you can, once you go on a winning streak every player gets quite a bit better ive found.

It's kinda crazy how volatile rankings in grandmasters are.

When Grandmaster's started, many, if not all, of the scores were adjusted so that everyone was close to each other. I really like it as you are going to see a lot of turnover at the top. It seems like it's a little slow going as everyone just played their games to get in. I'm hoping there is a lot of turnover in the bottom ranks too as I think the people who are towards the bottom are going to be the people who don't play that often - although those people may not play often, they may play just enough to not let their bonus pool get too high.

I'm pretty surprised that some people didn't get in who I thought would get in, such as Trump, Destiny, HasHe, Artosis, vVvTime, UMad..I'm sure I'm forgetting some, but yet there are some people who are in who I've never heard of before.

I still don't quite understand how the Grandmaster's League could be up almost 2 days now and they still don't have 200 players yet.

Last two ladder games:

R(P)vP: After watching the replay it appears it took nearly 7 minutes for me to win after he went AFK. In my defense I realized what had probably happened after 2, but was playing super safe.

R(T)vZ: I win with 1/3 of the APM of the Z guy who was clearly better than me because Terran is OP.
