Was just thinking, thinking back to manDingo's tilt spew.

Do you guys think that due to the Grandmaster's League that some people have come out of nowhere and started playing and that could be the reason why it seems like some of the games have gotten harder? These people didn't have any incentive to play before, but now with the Grandmaster coming in, everyone's taking their shot at it?

1 spine + 1 spore in each mineral line is so worth it, given how many minerals you are guaranteed to be floating.

I learned this the hard way as well. It's amazing how much damage a single DT can do when you're just completely unprepared for it, or god forbid don't NOTICE it during a battle.

If your MMR was towards the lower end of your league, then you probably were getting matched up with people who are a lot tougher than you would normally face. This is what happened to me at first, it seemed. And then you can look at guys like SelecT at the top of the ladder. He is 40-5 since the reset. He's probably been getting matched up with guys a lot lower than he normally would. I imagine it will all even out after a few weeks, like it did after release.

Most epic rush ever. In a 4v4, opposing terran gets an engineering bay, lifts his command center all the over to our base. Lands it next to one of our command centers, then transforms it into a planetary fortress.

Somehow, none of us notices in time or even attempts to attack it before it turns into a fortress. Yes, we all suck.

NyD just schooled Trump, PvT on close spawn Metal. proxy pylon in the back of his base, zealots and void rays. Trump wasn't even prepared for it.

Then NyD laughs because he watches the replay and sees Trump go for Thors and says it's easily countered.

Next game his next opponent says he saw him play a funny game vs. Trump, but I think he was talking about a different game. NyD says he never loses to Trump and he doesn't know why Trump always goes Thors. He said Trump is pretty terrible.

I've never seen Trump not go Thors TvP. Granted the sample is like 10 games cause I usually don't watch him.

I think I've seen Trump go Thors every match up for the last 7-8 matches I've seen him play. I think he's trying to find a way to use them in every situation. The game before that was TvT on Shattered and he was using Thors.

I don't see thors as much of a threat any more. Between the void buff and repair nerf. But w/e. I'm sure he knows better than I do.

It humors me that k4g used to give me trouble and now I don't even have to alter my build to stop it.

Best part is his k4g literally kills no units then he expands.

That program was written using the SC2 map editor.

Apparently there are 3rd party hacks out now that actually macro/micro for you. A guy on TL posted a replay of a ZvZ where his queens larvaie injected at 27 energy every single time and he had perfect roach burrow micro vs an army that was larger and had more upgrades. He lost zero roaches in the battle.

Hopefully blizzard does a good job of staying on top of this. Thank god there are a bunch of expansions set to come out for this game so blizzard should be highly motivated to retain as much of the fan base as possible.

on EU server, I went on 12 game winstreak. So I come back to do my placement, I play some god awful dude. I win, I get placed in bronze.

How many games do I have to win to start playing good people or to silver? These games aren't even close.
