play sc2 and d3.. maybe some other newer games but high graphics aren't a huge deal (except i'd like them for sc2 and d3 if possible)

i want to stream/cast (aka embed video/compress video) and play at the same time smoothly.

im willing to (and want to) overclock it.

for the PSU I always get OCZ stealthextreme ones. They don't make a peep and OCZ is an A+ company.

And their memory is shiny. They're like bars of gold.

Definitely don't skimp on the motherboard. Depending on my state of laziness fixing ****, I have either 3 or 4 computers in my basement at pretty much all times, and I typically buy as cheap as possible from pricewatch.

I have *always* regretted not spending a little bit extra for a solid motherboard, because they have pretty much everything on them these days, so it's a really big point of failure, and is also a huge pain in the ass to replace.

I've always had good luck with Asus boards though. Just don't go cheap no-name. You'll almost certainly regret it.

My ASUS mobo has done me well. ASUS Laptop - not so much, but I haven't exactly taken care of it.

nothing against the guy, but that seems like a hell of a lot.
if you consider what he has done and idra is only 150 more...

I also wasn't sure about the power supply but I have no real education in how much power it takes to run x components. For what it's worth mine is an 850 watt iirc.

Philly: He started at $30 an hour iirc, and has just moved his price up as he's gotten more demand. I think he's completely booked for coaching through the month of april. Can't blame the guy for raising his price to meet demand.

I don't know much about it either, but I think the general rule of thumb is if you want to upgrade/change stuff in the future, more is safer.

Also supply/demand philly. He gets booked up somehow. I wouldn't pay that much. If I was absolutely going to buy lessons, I wouldn't go a cent over $20/hr, but that's just me.

Is there anything better than cannon rushing ftw against the guy who proxy gated you? I think not.

I wasn't sure about Destiny, but his debating with viewers on economics while playing has won me over.

Also, battles in this game are at least 10x more epic with the music from the Cradle level of GoldenEye N64 playing in the background. So good.

No doubt music helps with APM.
