the new maps are hard for protoss. they're so wide open that its actually a pretty big nerf to FF which i actually thought was needed. at least in ZvP.

I actually dont disagree at all. Ive been opening 9-13 sentries in PvZ and it feels unstoppable. Slag is pretty good for FF tho.

slag is really wide open actually. i think the narrowest hallway requires 3 FF's. and also there are a lot of alternate paths to your natural. the new lost temple is WAY more wide open than the old one. protoss is not going to be able to wander to the middle of the map. i'm not even going to discuss backwater gulch because its just a big piece of garbage. typhon peaks your natural is so wide open and there's 2 paths into it, not even counting the rocks you can break down.

I haven't been able to play the new maps yet, but I was wondering if it's possible to get shakuras plateau'd by terran through the corner expos? Similar to the push they did through the low ground alleyways.

on a side note, i would trade the infestor buff, and give protoss their little necklace back, for overlord speed at tier 1, or some other way to scout before lair.

i really really appreciate and dig the idea, but i gotta be honest. I found the execution lacking. How can you say boom boom boom and not follow up with like the moon moon moon.

I had 2k+ games as terran before I switched to zerg and had no idea you could do this.
