always fun to repel a cheese.. I also like how they always try to hold on for dear life and make a zillion cannons in their main and make bases everywhere. at some point it's just wasting time and I barely pay attention.

my point was more about people trying to extend games and hold on for way too long, and it's annoying. It happened 3 games in a row.

Take it as a stress free opportunity to practice multi tasking in a late game situation. You don't always get that. I know my macro slips the more bases I start hitting.

If someone overly bms me or something in a competitive game I'll definitely take my time though.

100k for the first 2 season and 200k for the 3rd season. i think 16 players make the playoffs/LAN so if those spots would be considered "in the money" they might pay out 100k for first in season 3.

1st 100k
2nd 50k
3rd 24k
4th 10k
5-8 2k
9-16 1k

something like that?

I don't know why they would quote that $400k number if it was just what they paid to the winners. That would seem a bit strange to me. I think the 100k is for all payouts for the season.

I guess it could be the other way, I just don't think it makes much sense. If it were 100k to the winner why not advertise the 400k number as 800k+ or whatever. I mean it's the Sunday Million not the Sunday 200k. Unless it's winner take all in which case my interest will skyrocket.

EDIT: Oh I see you think that's how it would pay out for a third season. Yea that's possible.

it'll be interesting to see if NASL takes off.
because right now, if a season is 3 months (thought I heard 1 season = 1 quarter somewhere), and prize is 100k, GSL is a lot more than that when considering GSL is monthly

Brag: I won a ZvP where I accidentally built a super early lair at my expansion (hit the wrong key trying to build a queen and didn't realize til too late), tried to upgrade to hive and forgot that the lair was at my expansion and hitting the hotkey to upgrade at my main, which gave me 2 lairs.

Beat: I played a ZvP where I accidentally built 2 lairs.

Variance: unlike SC1, 2 lairs don't actually do jack **** for you.

i misclick built a baneling nest instead of a roach warren in 2 games yesterday. i won 1 and lost the other. the one i won i faced an early 6 gate push... as soon as i scouted it coming i went to build roaches then yelled oh ****, so i threw down 8 spinecrawlers. he ran away.

2nd one he never pushed, but i just played ******ed anyways and lost.

if you decide to do it save yourself a headache and use xsplit + justin.tv

xsplit is super easy to setup, and uses far less resources than FME

also.....

played a funny game where I pushed early, expanded a bunch and then decided to mess around making mass ghosts/PFs and stuff. Like i tried to make 3-4 PFs in the middle of the map and also push into his base with 2 more but it failed. Eventually it swelled into a 1:10 game.. lol. What a waste of time, but it did show me i stink with ghosts. The guy never gave up even tho i was obv a million miles ahead.

I think the TvX winrate on shakuras in horizontal spawns was probably why it got removed.
Hurray for the inevitable 2 base tankpush through the rocks.
