of course i am. been a fan since he was like 16 cleaning up after mkp. prime terrans were always the best, and its sad byun is leaving.

but besides being a maru fan, serral has zero claim to best in the world until he consistently beats those who are. stats is better, inno might even be better, im sure hed get thrashed by korean zergs on the reg. theres probably 5 people in gsl id say he could consistently beat. yeah winning gsl v world was impressive, but that was like 20 games.

i think people who are overly hopeful for foreigners are the only ones that could write your post!

Serral also won WCS Global Finals and he didn't exactly beat randoms to get there.
GSL is prestigious and the overall level feels better than international tourneys that have slots for regional qualifiers.
Yet number of games to win a GSL season is as low(kinda) as the GSL vs world and other majors,it's just the way it is broadcasted feels like a ton of games per season.
The non finals WCS are meaningless, serral is the best foreigner without a doubt and won the 2 tourneys he participated in that were stacked.
Achievement wise this is very close of maru or better if you look at the prizes.

Btw I posted a while back I didn't like serral much cause he was too cold, but after his incredible year it would be me that was cold-hearted for not appreciating him.

He took the best Korea had to offer, chewed them up, and spit them out.

If Maru's so ****ing good, maybe he should try making the finals of a tournament that Serral is playing in. But I guess that's too hard for him!

lol, rough life for a lot of IEM participants. For people that didn't directly qualify for the main event, 64 players were split into 4 brackets, with 3 qualifying for the main event from each bracket.

Bracket 1: Dear, Leenock, Ragnarok qualify - thanks for flying to Katowice sOs, Keen, Cure, Fantasy, you can go home now
Bracket 2: Hero, Trap, Scarlett qualify - bye Alive (lol how did this bracket get ~no Koreans)

Brackets 3 and 4 are tomorrow.
