Dark did one of the smartest and ballsiest things I've ever seen in a ZvT in the GSL Super Tournament this weekend:
- game 1 of a series, he goes pool first, then hatch; his opponent's reaper shows up at the natural (which would be done if it was hatch first), sees it's not done yet, turns the reaper around to go home since that means Dark has sent lings around to try to cancel his CC at home
- game 3, Dark goes hatch first at his third base, then third hatch before pool (unheard of in ZvT) at his natural. His opponent's reaper shows up, sees the same hatch timing at the natural, and turns around to go stop the nonexistent lings that aren't on the way to cancel his CC at home.

Dark is such a baller.

jaedong and soulkey were rank 2 and 3 on the September ladder, rain was 5th. Although ranked lower, Soulkey's winrate was much higher than JD's.

I think JD and soulkey both win their first matches, the ensuing ZvZ is a toss up, and if JD loses that the final game also won't be easy.

I watched that larva game live on stream. It was fantastic. they played a bunch of good games that night but that one was amazing

How do you manage to play this game that is mostly speed building time after time. Well, I am not really asking, just stating a fact. How about a nice game of poker, or at least some ccgs? The only modes I liked somewhat with SC2 were other than the normal game modes, but I see no reason to waste my time in gaming that has no money in it.

I had a meeting start halfway through it (I'm working from home today) so I had to sneak peeks as much as I could, looked nuts. Final engagement kind of a letdown though.

Every time I see that end favorably for a Zerg, it's a streamer on the ladder and it's because the Protoss willingly engages into 40 spore crawlers.

Where can I watch the games from Blizzcon?

I usually use sc2casts.com as my 1-stop-shop for all things starcraft, they have the GSL and a bunch of other casters and tournaments that I like,

but apparently they don't have the Blizzcon games.

- Kelazhur starts researching the medivac boost length increase upgrade, probably to make Dark's scouting overlord think he was getting banshee cloak or something
- Kelazhur doesn't cancel
- Maynarde: "I guess this was intentional, this should be sick!"
- Kelazhur: makes a viking, makes a liberator, does not make any medivacs for quite awhile
- obviously was a mistake
- Kelazhur like 5 minutes later eventually has medivacs and eventually boosts them
- Maynarde: "Siiiiiiiick!"
