So, after doing some research I really do not understand the point of the lift-to-gold-base-and-2rax strategy, and here is why.

There's also a game of him 2raxing Effort on Frost with exactly the same timings (impressive).

I get that over time, the gold base gets you $$ faster and you eventually make up for the 50 second delay in floating over there at the start of the game. But in the context of a 2 rax all in: who ****ing cares? Are you struggling that hard to crank out 2 marines at a time (oh the economic horror) on blue mineral income that it's worth delaying your raxes (and marine production, and ability to start dropping bunkers) by 12 and 16 seconds?

For the first ~ten minutes of basically every ZvT I play on MGR, I feel like Hydra in this game.

I don't quite understand why, either. Isn't short rush distance supposed to favor Zerg, like Daedalus (even after the ramp fix)? Or is it because this map isn't as wide open so hellions are more protected from surrounds?

my day on the boat would basically consist of eating as much as i can, cause i heard the food is usually great, and depending who i went with, decide if we start drinking at 9am or 10am

when you're docked, i guess pretty std to just do some sightseeing during the day? atlantis looks fun, and gambling is always an option

IDK, I thought about starting a thread elsewhere but kinda figured I'd ask a more inherently friendly bunch, SC2 guys.

There have to be some generic things that one can do to make a cruise better. The thing we are struggling with, my gf and I, is how to get liquor on the boat. You can bring one bottle of wine or champagne per adult, so two for us, but F that she wants peach vodka. And I'm tiring to come up with a good way not to pay what will likely be an absurd amount for liq on the boat.

Dump out wine, replace with everclear

and find a way to re cork it.

i guess it would add up to have to buy it all on the ship. prob look to do more while you're off the boat then come back and casually drink at meals or night or w.e

altho im also basing this off of trips to my friends boat where we drink weird amounts and no one is usually around to judge us.

****'s awful. And I only ever drink it when I am back in Myrtle Beach because...what the hell? I don't think anytime I've had it I've actually thought it was a good decision though. Oh and I always get the extra shot of grain alcohol put into it. It's only a $1 more!
