An early roach warren (I would guess that 6:00 or 7:00 or so is when you put down a kinda 'safe' roach warren in case you need to crank some out vs hellions or whatever; earlier than that, it's because you're def planning on building some early roaches); no third base or no drone saturation at third base.

I've started playing a bit again, and boy is SC2 the most aggrevating stressfull game that is fun at the same time ever.

Also bad against zealots, archons, and immortals. Situationally bad against HTs and colossus. Excellent against 100% stalker builds though!

My comment seemed like a joke but it wasn't really. I was in silver and gold league for a while and my experience is that if someone builds a structure, the either intend to use it a lot or are so bad that it doesn't matter what you do.

Well, I mean there's a difference between building a **** ton of roaches and attacking at like 140 supply or whatever and doing a 1- or 2-base roach all-in

Usually when I see a roach warren it just means that they're going to base their army on roaches but I rarely see an all-in, which is why like 10 roaches showing up at my base when I had pretty much nothing surprised me. So I wasn't sure if I should look for anything in particular or not. I tend to really suck at scouting still anyway...DTs and the like still shock me every time they happen

if you ever see a zerg that didnt expo very early on you should be extremely cautious. even delaying your own expo. 1 base zerg should never really beat 1 base terran. 2 base is tougher if you dont see it and dont have an army started.

tvp is extremely annoying cause p just a moves and hits like 2ttttt and terran has to micro really well against it all

1 base Zerg builds are terrible and you should basically never lose to them. Scout early and often.

yea it was a 2 base.

id watch if you post replay. kinda hard to say whats wrong without actually seeing, as 2 base roach can work vs the best, but then a 2 base @ 10 minute should basically never work.

was bored enough to ladder some today (3 games lol) twice get matched with the same zerg who ironically opens 1 base speed/bane/evo(wtf) both times. first game, laughable hold. literally 3 cloaked banshees kill his 2 queens, nat, bane nest, pool, ~20 drones. 2nd game he actually breaks into my main but auto repair scv buffer and a handful of marines ezpz. push with like 160 marine tank supply, gg.

i would be annoyed by playing gold, but i think ive played a single digit this season and my bonus pool is near 500. its also nice to never lose. doubt i'll ever care enough to get into diamond.

also now 6-2 against my 2v2 partner. lost to an 8gate today after killing his 3rd. had a drop going and left my army sitting on my 3rd ramp and half got ff'ed off and by then was too late to hold. i told him he just has to say i'm the master on skype with 3rd friend on the call and i wont ask to 1v1 anymore. fwiw he thinks hes diamond lvl toss but thinks pvt is underpowered.
